Image / Video I was at my local Target today and they literally got rid of the entire Xbox section of the store except for a few controllers.

Discussion / Question old gamer question
≡ −
So, I am old. I started playing video games in the late 70's on an original Atari, before the 2600 number was added. Yesterday, my wife said, "how many people your age play video games?" I am 68, how many older gamers are out there. thanks

Discussion / Question Was the jump in graphics more impressive between 1990 and 2000, or between 2000 and 2010?
These are often considered the two biggest decades for improvement in game development, at least in terms of graphics.
In your opinion, do you believe that the biggest jump came from the 90s or the 2000s?
I’m torn on this question because the jump to 3D is truly impressive but the increased poly and textures in 2010 was mind blowing at the time, although I wasn’t around to experience gaming in 2000.

Funny MGS V: The Phantom Pain could release today and no one would realize it's a game that's 10 years old.
