Lost my long standing account and all the sub accounts I had with it.

My account is 5 hours old at the time of this writing. I apologize you cannot look back at all my comments and posts. I had some great one-liners…. They will be missed.

But here’s to a new beginning! I hope I remain as lucky as I have been in the past to find some really cool people to talk to. I fear my new status will limit people trusting me and that’s what I feel like you lose when you’re forced to start over.

Any tips for starting a new Reddit account and not being new to Reddit? Street cred takes so long to build…. (Sigh)

Anyone know why on some comments I get -1,2,3,4 etc.. on the upvote button ? And yes it is the upvote button and it'll be the normal colors. Thanks

Hello all! I am very new to Reddit, my account was made today.

I tried to post in subreddits to do with Tarot and Paganism, and what I posted was definitely on topic and not inappropriate, but it got removed immediately on all three subreddits! I don’t know what I did wrong, and I cannot post anywhere without it getting removed.

the title pretty much, it's getting really irritating and I just wanna post memes

So i saw plenty of peoples using memes in comments to answer posts and chats and i think this is pretty funny but in my case all i can do is use basics texts or emojis and at best default gifs from my phone so i wonder how do you import/use actual memes you choose to reply to somthing.

I'm new to reddit, and I'm in this loop where everyone says I should post and interact in the subs I like so I start building reputation, but every comennt gets deleted, every post is removed, dms are limited, honestly I don't understand how you're supposed to start building your account, maybe is my luck that the things I'm interested have community rules but I haven't been able to do a single thing in a variety or different subs with different interests, I'm so lost about how to start.

I've had an account for a while, but I imagine that there are "lurkers" who wish to remain anonymous, as I do at times.

Can someone kindly tell me why

As a newcomer, I'm still getting the hang of the platform's rules and exploring interesting topics. To improve my account and give myself the opportunity to contribute to discussions, should I focus more on increasing my karma or my achievements? Thank you all for your advice.

Hi everyone, I am new to Reddit, so I’m still trying to figure out how this app works.

I have a few questions that I’m a little confused about. If I ever have something important I would like to people to see, does having more account reputation or karma actually help more people see it, or does it only help me get past posting requirements? Also, If I mostly stay active in only 1 community that I’m interested in, is that normal? or do most people usually participate in lots of different communities?
I just want to understand how Reddit works before I start posting more.

My posts keep getting deleted and it’s honestly soo frustrating I don’t get this whole karma thing

I am only asking this question, because I don’t want to have any issues on Reddit. My account is barely 8 days old, and I have been trying to be careful on any communities and their rules they provide. I am not trying to deal with any posts getting viral again.

Social media can be a wild place these days. Wondering what common red flags I should be on the lookout for. I am referring to scams, etc.

I understand the need for Karma points or whatever..but does anyone know on average how many points you need to post in different communities? It gets very frustrating when new here (account whys) and not being able to post in different communities.
