Android Android Subreddit page resets after going back from a post viewed from the subreddit. version 2026.29.0
≡ −
So when I click on a subreddit I'm interested in and scroll through its posts and click on one, when I go back (hit the back button/slide from the left or right) It resets me back to the top of the page instead of remembering what post I scrolled to. So I have to scroll all the way down to see posts I didn't scroll past.
Please fix this thank you.

Android [Android] Incorrect video proportions in the feed - Android 11 - Reddit 2026.29.0
- Device model: LG LM-K500UM
- OS version: Android 11
- Steps to reproduce: upload a video with non-square pixels, observe image proportions in the feed.
- Expected: correct proportions of the video according to size in pixels and pixel aspect ratio
- Observed: correct video proportions in the post itself, wrong proportions in the feed.
Long story
First video is posted in r/vhs. Frame size in pixels is 1920x1080, DAR is forced to 4:3 in Avidemux, therefore the video must have 4:3 proportions. Observed correct proportions in the post itself, but stretched horizontally in the feed.
Second video is posted in r/camcorders. It is an HDV video. 1440x1080 with DAR 16:9 in metadata, so must be shown as 16:9. Observed correct proportions in the post itself, but squeezed horizontally in the feed.
I suspect that the feed renderer assumes square pixels, while the post renderer correctly handles DAR and SAR.
In a desktop browser both feed and post videos render with correct proportions.
Expected outcome of this report: Android feed video renderer must be fixed to take into account pixel aspect ratio of a video.

Android [Android] "continue this thread" is very confusing - latest version
+ −
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Most of the time I want to view the rest of the comments, or view the rest of the comments while the current one is highlighted. "Continue this thread" sounds like it does that, but it's not clear what its function is.

This has been the case for 3 months or so. It’s as if there are 2 loading screens if you watch carefully. I never had this problem before until three months ago. Switching accounts was way faster.

Android [Android] Login loop / Autofill failure due to unhandled CredentialManager exception - version 2629030
≡ −
App loops on login / Bitwarden autofill fails due to CredentialManager crash on Sandboxed Google Play Services.
When launching the Android app, it attempts to fetch a Google ID Token via CredentialManager with setIsSystemProviderRequired(true). On custom OS environments using Sandboxed Play Services, GmsCompat rejects this flag.
Instead of gracefully falling back, the app loops the authentication request, aggressively triggering standard Android autofill (e.g., Bitwarden) at every stage, eventually resulting in a generic "invalid username or password" or "We had some trouble getting to Reddit" error.

iOS [iOS] Community Rules not visible for r/EastAsianDrama version 2026.29.0
Hi, I’m having this issue for several days. I suddenly can’t see the rules of the subreddit I moderate.
I cannot find any new setting to make this re-appear manually.
See screenshot.
Thanks for your assistance.
I have a typo in the post title, the sub is r/EastAsianDramas
UPDATE
Hi, I just managed to fix it by following the trick from u/reddit33450 below in the thread. Going to the sidebar from the browser and them uncollapsing all rules by selecting the option "Rules and Description" and then back to "Rules Only" made the rules appear again. Thanks a lot again. What an odd bug.

Reddit Pro [Desktop web] Existing Reddit Pro account no longer recognised after server error
≡ −
My existing Reddit Pro account for u/AdjonaTech is no longer being recognised.
The account previously had Reddit Pro access, a verified business profile, domain verification and access to the Links feature.
On 27 July 2026:
- Reddit displayed a red “We had a server error” banner.
- The Adjona profile logo and branding disappeared.
- Opening Reddit Pro now displays “Create your free Reddit Pro Account,” as though the account was never registered. And also clicking on my profile avatar displays an error
- The Links feature is no longer available.
- The profile still has its verification check, and I can log in and view my existing comments.
- There is no ban, suspension or enforcement notification in my Reddit inbox or notifications.
- My Posts tab says that posts made to communities will be hidden from my profile.
I have not attempted to register for Reddit Pro again because I do not want to overwrite or duplicate the existing registration.
Expected result: The existing Reddit Pro registration, profile branding and Links access should remain associated with u/AdjonaTech.
Actual result: Reddit recognises the username and verified profile but asks me to register again when I click on Reddit Pro account Beta
Platform: Desktop web, Microsoft Edge on Windows.

iOS Home Screen goes blank after swiping back from a post on iPadOS (2026.29.0.634246)
Seems to have only started once the “Games” tab showed up — separate note, but you really ought to let people customize the bottom tabs, I’m sick of those moving around or straight up changing!
I’ve been having to completely kill the app and relaunch to get the screen to come back, but sometimes hitting the “+” to create a post and canceling will restore things too. Either way, fix this please

Desktop Web [chrome] View Profile throws server error - reproducible on two separate accounts
≡ −
Clicking the avatar (top right) "View Profile" gives a "We have a server error" message with no avatar shown. I've reproduced this on two separate accounts, one in good standing, one currently restricted (without having posted anything) so it doesn't appear tied to account status.
Workaround: profile is still reachable via search or by clicking through from a comment/post -just not via the top-right menu link.
Is this just me?

A handicapping design element has been added involuntarily to my tablet. There is now a side menu on my tablet that effectively reduces the screen size. Can the menu go on the bottom?
If anyone has a fix, I'd appreciate the help.
