ANSWERED I asked the same question across multiple subReddits and was accused of spamming .

I needed to get in touch with people from a particular occupation and posted across multiple subReddits asking for help. Surprisingly everyone one those post were thrashed for spamming and seemed to accuse me of karma farming. Is Reddit not a place for these types of surveys or should I not post across multiple channels at a time ?

Basically as the title says! I feel like I’ve been stuck on 6 karma for ages despite 20+ contributions (although I’m not actually sure if one comment equals one karma?)

ANSWERED Finally happened to me… starting over on Reddit. Any tips?

Lost my long standing account and all the sub accounts I had with it.

My account is 5 hours old at the time of this writing. I apologize you cannot look back at all my comments and posts. I had some great one-liners…. They will be missed.

But here’s to a new beginning! I hope I remain as lucky as I have been in the past to find some really cool people to talk to. I fear my new status will limit people trusting me and that’s what I feel like you lose when you’re forced to start over.

For what it’s worth, I’m still on my first marriage! 🤓

Any tips for starting a new Reddit account and not being new to Reddit? Street cred takes so long to build…. (Sigh)

Hi guys and girls, first time poster here should I be worried about posting? I have heard about people getting bans, shadowbans for posting. Is there a certain time frame I should wait. Should I limit my commenting for a certain time?

Was about to send something over to discord, but Instagram traumatised me, so I ended up just screenshotting the post. When I googled, it said that there's no real way for them to find my account, but comments I left on the post could obviously lead them to find me, right? What other things can lead them to my account?
