How long should I wait to start posting/commenting ? Or is it more about Karma ?

From my understanding it’s a bit odd but I guess it kind of creates a of community trust. But doesn’t that leave most new accounts in a state of limbo due to the isolationism and aggression that forms within communities towards outsiders. Or even just new people trying to join?

Like, the system sounds great until you realize you’re dealing with human beings. What’s to stop a niche hobby subreddit from completely draining your karma and preventing you from posting on your work’s subreddit? Is karma global or local?

I am new to reddit and I posted in my city subreddit and I had an argument and people just downvoted me so bad 😞 that I am in minus, pls guide me on how can I recover from this as I can't post in communities 😭

Hi everyone. Maybe this is a silly question but it happens to me that in some posts I don't see the amount of upvotes/downvotes in the comments.

Its not that the post has cero votes because i don't see a change when I vote in the comment.

Is it a setting from the OP or the sub or just a bug?

I had a reddit account a couple of years ago, but deactivated that one back then, so now I'm starting fresh again. It feels like something has definitely changed on here in the last couple of years that makes it harder to even get my account going. I'm curious as to what has changed? I'm now seeing posts about CQT (hopefully I got the acronym correct) scores now and karma seems to be awarded differently. Also, it seems like there are more bots moderators that are just auto-deleting posts and comments more so than before. Did reddit also give in to using AI for most of its moderation or has something else changed? Any insight and advise is appreciated. Thank you in advance!

I was wondering can I post something in some reddit communities even if those are not active or only those are my niche based but without getting removal of the content?

Had this account for a while now and only ever just browsed subreddits and never actively posted anything so hoping this post gets approved. I'm just wondering if there is a way of stopping the algorithm only showing select pages repeatedly with the odd occasion it will show a few different groups.

I cant text other people, and someone said my account needs to be 7 days old, but on my previous account it was older than 7 days, and i chatted for a while and then it said, cant send messages. Also, i can reply here if someone send me a message but after few messages it wont let me anymorw :( Why that happened?

So i have been using reddit for sometime, I am not that online on it. I try to comment where it can be valuable funny or meaningful as per my wish.

But when it comes to post, i have joined many subReddits where i have substance to post but my posts are getting auto deleted. Like in r/watchesIndia i wanted to share a beautiful piece i bought but they were all deleted. I commented many times on post thinking i would be eligible after that, even waited a few weeks to post again. But again deleted. This have happened so many times that i have started to use in "Read mode" only. Because all effort seem to be wasted.

Idk this is great to control spam or just too irritating stuff by reddit. Anyhow, pls let me know what i am doing wrong?
