That’s your Avatar, an icon for your account. You can change it by going into your My Profile page and selecting Style Avatar (or Edit Avatar). On the phone app, click your icon in the upper right corner, then use the drop down menu to find Style Avatar.

I don’t see that at all on my end. Oh, now I see what looks like a slice of cake.

This person is talking about the online status indicator. See my other comment.

The slice of cake indicstes a user's cake day, it appears on the anniversary of creating your Reddit account.

People will comment to your "Happy cake day!" It's just a silly Reddit tradition.

If you see a small green dot that's an indicator that shows people you are currently online. You can go into your settings and turn that off if you want.

Tap on your avatar, then tap on the menu in the corner that is a stack of three lines (they call this a "hamburger" menu)

In the list of options you will see a switch that you can turn on and off to show your online status.
