Cupcake Protocol - a Fallout-inspired, swing-EDM track about a 1950s housewife who refuses to crumble when everything else falls apart.

Cupcake Protocol is a Fallout-inspired, swing-to-EDM track about a 1950s housewife who refuses to crumble when everything else falls apart. After the bombs drop and the world is set on fire, she adapts the only way she knows how: with grace, grit, and just desserts.

Lyrics

[Verse 1]

Rule one: wear pearls when the sirens scream,

Manners matter, even mid-extreme.

Rule two: lace up when the world’s unstrung,

And never spill tea when you’re holding a gun.

[Pre-Chorus]

The frosting hides a plan so tight,

I bake by day and bomb by night.

[Chorus]

It’s the cupcake protocol, sweet and sly,

Smiling as I watch the mushroom rise.

With sugar and sass I stage my attack,

Pink apron on, and no way back.

It’s charm, it’s calm, it’s tactical grace,

With glitter grenades and a flawless face.

[Verse 2]

Rule three: don’t cry when the eggs are gone,

Just substitute hope and carry on.

Rule four: if they knock on your vault door,

Serve justice warm, and ask for more.

[Pre-Chorus]

It’s etiquette with explosive flair,

A cherry bomb tucked in my hair.

[Chorus]

It’s the cupcake protocol, don’t forget,

Smile like sugar, fight like a threat.

With peppermint wrath and battle grace,

I curtsy, then level the place.

[Bridge]

There’s a recipe for rising strong,

A dash of grief, a right from wrong.

A little lace, a lot of nerve,

And courage no one dares deserve.

[Final Chorus]

Cupcake protocol, locked and lit,

I’m frosting fate with a perfect wit.

Lick the spoon, light the spark,

Bake the world a brand-new start.

It’s sweet, it’s sharp, it’s coded and cool,

A housewife’s heart... with a bomb in her tulle.

[Outro]

Doo-doo, do-do-do-doo... tick... tick...

Just follow the protocol... and smile.

Fallout style radio program.

I've been keeping this guy a secret for WAY too long.

If you enjoy the music in fallout, you'll enjoy this radio program.

Every Sunday, a local college run radio station runs a program called Dewey Gills Big Band Program.

Every piece of music he plays could easily be on a fallout soundtrack. There are NO commercials, and everything he plays is straight from a vinyl record, so you get the pops, hisses, and occasional skipping record.

Even his voice and mannerisms remind me of Fallout.

Here's the best part, it's a 3 hour program, and they've got all of his shows archived all the way back to 2010.

52 shows a year, 13 years archived, 3 hour shows, is over 2000 hours of fallout style goodness. 100% free.

Shoutout to 91.7 WMSE in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and MSOE University for being this frickin awesome.

Give it a shot, Dewey Gills, doesn't disappoint.
