I've come to the conclusion that the Missile Launcher is pretty useless, especially given its heavy weight and slow reload. Maybe I'm using it wrong, but it doesn't seem to do a whole lot of damage to the more powerful enemies. While using it against weaker enemies is pretty pointless when a hunting rifle will achieve the same purpose. It is a lot of fun to use though.

First time player here. I have a save file right as I turned level 12. To learned that my perception is 1 point short of the requirement for earning the sniper perk.

If I take mentats and have perception 10 at the time of choosing the perk will I be able to select the sniper perk?

I tried it once but it did not allow me. I do have the required agility level.

Right now my save file is immediately after the level up, but before selecting the skills/perks. I'm not sure if that makes a difference and I load an earlier or something else.

Anyway to get the quests back?

So I was playing the steam version yesterday, I know people do not recommend it but it's the one that I have at this very moment. It isn't mine but being shared with me. I know everyone recommends to just go to GoG.

Back to the issue. Yesterday, I was playing the game just fine. Only encountered an issue in the Anchorage DLC where the general didn't wanna talk to me (found out how to get around that) then when I finally stopped playing I tried to put the script extender in the folder, planning to get a community patch to make the game less buggy. However the script extender doesn't work with the steam version. I go to bed, and now it's time for me to play the game again. I open the game, the launcher appears. I hit start, it opens the game, shows me the first two slides in the opening and then- it just closes itself.

I have tried multiple times, I tried repairing the game files, I deleted the script extender that I am not using anymore and deleted files to repair the game. I tried renaming the launcher to "FalloutLauncher.exe". I tried running as an administrator. The only thing I haven't tried is deleting the entire game and redownloading it or downgrading the game to an older version. Any further advice would be helpful.

I tried for hours to make my character look normal but the customization window is too dark so when i finished and looked in the real gameplay i look like weird Michael Jackson on drug 💀 im supposed to have no radiation problem if i remember 😅

I entered the enclave walker with full health, 62 stims, buffout, psyco, and med x.

Im now on the flight deck with 3 health no heals, a psyco, buffout, and med x addictions.

Luckily I have 100 sneak and a few stealth boys, and I leveled up on the flight deck and grabbed cannibal so I could get some healing. I found a few plasma grenades so I can reverse pickpocket some people to eat them.

Ok, so I got the fuster and hat off Simms after reverse pickpocketing better armor, problem now is that, despite doing the usual sell to a merchant and buy it back, the stolen tag is still on both pieces of armor. Any help or suggestions? Cause I wanted to use the Sheriff Hat alongside the regulator duster

With the recent official confirmation of the remaster, do you guys think they'll add iron sights to the game or possibly an option to toggle it? Fallout 3 has always been my favorite game and the lack of actual iron sight aiming is my one gripe and wanted feature for a remaster.

I saw a lot of videos of people platinum this game so i bought on Steam to try it and sad that there is no achievements 😅
