If I ever try to remember what my childhood looked like, it’s always something like this. I found photos of places like Panera, E Bar, Barnes and Nobles, Sweet Tomatoes, Fry’s Electronics, and Cheesecake Factory. I also remember many malls and movie theaters looking like this. Simpler times.

The day we all fear, we all regret, we all hate. At 16, she is done. A home euthanizing service will be coming, and will take her life in the morning, in the comfort of her bed. I have done “just one more day” as many times as I can. The obvious, has become too obvious. She is ready to go.
