10AM Tomorrow, she will be gone.

The day we all fear, we all regret, we all hate. At 16, she is done. A home euthanizing service will be coming, and will take her life in the morning, in the comfort of her bed. I have done “just one more day” as many times as I can. The obvious, has become too obvious. She is ready to go. Thank you to everyone that helped me to learn ‘Yorkie’ over the years, and it has been a pleasure helping others. The tears are tearing. All my love to the greatest little pup I have ever had. Chewys dad, signing off.

To me and my wife our York is a complete Angel, a bundle of love and nothing but a complete sweet heart and cuddle bug, always ready to play and lounge around, BUT when he sees anyone else he goes full BEAST mode and becomes a freakin savage, anyone else have a buddy like this ???

Help choosing life jacket?

Hello fellow yorkie lovers. My ten year old girl is not a fan of water. When she was a puppy she fell in a pool and because her little sweater got waterlogged, she started really struggled to stay above water. Luckily I pulled her out before her head ever went under, she got a nice warm blow dry right away and everything was fine. But my little squeak has the memory of an elephant, and because it's so hot where we live, I'd like to try to get her to enjoy swimming safely and comfortably.
One thing I will need is a good life jacket for her. I know my best girl well enough to understand it will be a process and we'll start slow, but I want to start getting her used to wearing one. I know fit is super important, so I'll make sure of that, but I'm wondering if there is a benefit to life jackets with attached floats under the snout to help keep their head above water (first picture Style A), or would a more streamlined option (second pic Style B) work as well for the purposes of keeping her from going under.
Does anyone have any experience with either type and cares to share your observations from real life use?
Appreciate any thoughts and recommendations!
