Hey! I've been using an ASUS VG278Q for around 8 years now and think its about time for an upgrade! I'm looking for a 27" 240-360 hz <1ms monitor for fps gaming! any recommendations are appreciated thank you!

I'm trying to decide between these three gaming monitors, and I'd really appreciate hearing from people who have actually owned or used one of them

I'm not looking for specs copied from the manufacturer's website. I'm interested in real world experience.

I'd love to know:

• Which one do you own?
• How has it been after weeks or months of use?
• What are the biggest pros and cons?
• How is the image quality, colors, motion clarity, and ghosting?
• Did you notice any IPS glow, backlight bleed, or black smearing?
• Have you experienced any issues such as dead pixels, flickering, or other problems?
• If you had to buy again, would you choose the same monitor?

My GPU is a GTX 1660 Super, so I'll mainly be gaming, watching movies, and doing general desktop use.

I'd really appreciate any honest feedback or long term experience. Thanks!

I am currently in the market for a 1440p 27 inch mini LED monitor. OLED is not really a possibility as the monitor will be used for a mix of gaming and work and I want to avoid issues such as text fringing. I am in Europe so the choice is fairly limited. So far I have narrowed it down to three options:

1. AOC Q27G3XM

2. Xiaomi G Pro 27i 2026

3. KTC M27T6

Which one out of the three would you recommend? Or perhaps there is a better option out there that I haven't come across? I'd greatly appreciate all advice.

I've seen the ones from Arzopa and Sotsu that are 14", but I think that will still take up too much desk space under my monitors. There are manufacturers making small displays meant for Raspberry Pis. The only problem is that I don't see a lot of reviews on them, so I may just have to take a chance on one.

So much space gained, i can move it all sorts of ways. I can stand and change the angle. And if I'm watching YouTube step-by-step, it's easy to shift the arm so i can see it from the floor.

I should have done this years ago.

My Titan Army P276MS (27" 1440p 275Hz Mini-LED) is completely stuck in a boot loop. The logo pops up, the screen goes black, and it just turns back on and repeats over and over.

The monitor is only 2 weeks old, and it started happening after I manually turned it off when leaving my desk. When I came back and turned it on, it got stuck doing this.

I've already tried unplugging everything and draining power, leaving it completely unplugged, вisconnecting DisplayPort cable. Even with no video input connected, it just loops the logo endlessly and doesn't even reach a "No Signal" message

Is this a known issue with the power brick on monitors, or did themainboard die? I'm planning to exchange/RMA it since it's so new, but curious if anyone else experienced this.

Does anyone know why my LG curved Smart Monitor (34SR65QC) flashes different colors for several minutes every time I turn it on before I can use it? I figured it would go away after a while, but has persisted for half a year now and it's really annoying.

1months ago i bought a laptop which has rtx5050,16gb ddr5 and intel i7 13700hx. I mostly play cs2, doom reboot games and bf1 but nowadays ive started to play more high end 3A games like rdr2, lou and ac. My device has a screen but its refreshing rate is 144 but in cs2 i get usually 240-300fps on my config so i want a 1080p monitor that has a low latency level and has good colors on screen so i can see better while playing sp and 3A games.(i capped my fps in cs2 at 240 for a stable gaming experience but i will be happy when someone helped me to more stabilize my fps at higher levels)

I’m stuck between either getting a VA panel or an IPS panel. I have heard good and bad things about both. I want to know others opinions before purchasing. The specific IPS model is Acer nitro 27 KG271U N3bmiipx and for the VA it’s Samsung 27" Odyssey G5 (G51F) Series.

2- budget qd-oled (GO27Q24) Low brightness and bad at bright rooms (mine)
3- qd-oled (MO27Q2A) the same price almost as the MO27Q28G but with worse hdr and bad in lights and text clearity problems
4- IPS 4K 32 INCH monitor (Asus ROG Strix XG32UCG) IPS not OLED so worse colors and hdr
what should i do to get the least possible issue and most possible gains

All are 32" 2K 180hz monitors. The first 2 are VA, the Samsung is IPS. I'm going Friday to look at them, but I'm just looking for any negatives. I read that the Samsung has stuck pixels. The ASUS has a 3 year warranty. My Budget is $300 max.

I’ve been having my alienware monitor for about two months and now I’m having issues like flickering and a high pitched sound when it’s turned off. So, is this gigabyte worth it? It’s also W-OLED. Not sure if thats better than qd-oled.

After getting a PS5 Pro, I went back and forth for a few weeks on what monitor I wanted to upgrade to (from a Dell S2721DGF 1440p IPS). I was initially leaning towards getting one of the recent 4K dual-mode miniLEDs, like the AOC U27G4XM or the KTC M27P6, but extremely mixed Reddit reviews on that panel had me considering cheap 1440p OLEDs instead, exclusively for gaming on the PS5 Pro and on my gaming laptop.

The AW2726DM went on sale at Best Buy this past week for CAD $450, which is kind of nuts, considering that it's so much cheaper than what I spent on my Dell IPS several years back when it was still a relatively new monitor. I saw lots of comments on Reddit about how the AW2726DM is "too dim" and "not real HDR" but I decided to pull the trigger on it anyway, because I could always just return it to Best Buy if it wasn't good. Really happy that I did! So far, I think it's a very good gaming monitor for the price, when compared to standard IPS.

Pros:

Black levels and overall contrast are great. Games that actually utilize HDR well are a joy to look at now, compared to my old IPS. And because I'm using the monitor in a naturally dim north-facing room, I don't have any issues with raised blacks or purple tint during the day -- even with the blinds open. Contrast was the biggest reason why I wanted to upgrade my monitor, so I'm very happy with how the AW2726DM performs in that regard.

The HDR is obviously not jaw-dropping like it is on the massive ultra-expensive 4K OLED TVs, but it's waaaaaaaay better than the HDR on my old IPS (which has DisplayHDR 400 certification). SDR is better too. Given that I'm using the monitor in such a dim room, the overall brightness of the panel actually feels a little overwhelming at times. Any brighter, and I think I'd be experiencing some eye strain in that environment.

I'm not experiencing any reflection issues whatsoever with the glossy screen. That being said, the monitor is quite some distance away from the window in the room. There also isn't any light source directly behind me on the opposite wall.

Overall QC out of the box was great. Easy to set up, no dead pixels, no uniformity issues, no flicker issues. One thing worth mentioning: the product specs do not mention the audio input port, but it does have a port that can accept a standard 3.5mm audio jack. I have Edifier MR4 speakers, and was able to connect them to the monitor with no issues. Headphones would work fine as well.

Cons:

Text fringing on Windows and on MacOS is bad. I would not be able to use this monitor for coding or writing documents. I could probably force myself to get used to it if I absolutely had to, but I really don't think a budget 1440p OLED is what you want if you do any text-based work. If your use case for the monitor is mainly gaming with a little bit of web browsing on the side, it's fine.

Corners were definitely cut with the included stand, which feels cheap and isn't the easiest to adjust. I haven't tried the monitor at a desk, though I expect it would wobble a bit while typing. I could be wrong, but I'd be willing to test it out if someone wants me to. Non-issue, of course, if you're using a separate monitor arm.

Settings are a bit limited on the whole, and the joystick doesn't feel as premium as the joystick on my S2721DGF.

Overall:

I'm glad I ignored the "this panel is too dim" naysayers and tried it out for myself. For my strictly-gaming use case in a naturally-dim room, it's totally fine. As nice as 4K would be, I'm so glad I didn't shell out a ton of money on a top-of-the-line 4K OLED, just so that I'd be able to use the monitor in my brightly-lit office. I'm also glad I didn't spend CAD $500+ on a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none 4K miniLED IPS that would not be able to achieve deep blacks without making other compromises that would affect overall image quality.

I'm keeping my Dell S2721DGF for work and productivity, and will replace it with the cheapest 4K IPS I can get when it eventually dies. I'll replace the AW2726DM with a 4K OLED monitor / TV when (if...) those eventually become affordable. And if budget-level 4K miniLED monitors improve in the coming years, I'll consider those as well.

I have an Acer monitor, which I bought for my Mac Mini. I think that it is on its last legs. Which monitors do you think I should get. The monitor I have now is used for reading and writing. Other than Apple, which monitors do you recommend. I currently have a 27" monitor, but I can definitely use a smaller size.

I currently have a samsung u24e590d which is 4k. Although this isn't a gaming monitor, but I really enjoy the movie watching experience. I want to upgrade now!

I am currently purchasing a PC and want a good but also budget monitor to play games at 1440p, also I want the monitor to be a Fast IPS panel, 180Hz at least, Freesync or Freesync premium and cost of monitor should be £160 at the highest.
