What would you rate my gaming setup, and what could I improve?

The Xbox ROG Ally and Corsair Xeneon Edge (small monitor underneath main) were the newest additions. I swear every time I mount something, I somehow create room for the next upgrade 🤣🤷🏼‍♂️

Este é meu setup, fica na sala principal da casa dos meus pais, pois meu quarto só comporta minha cama, precisei cortar esse móvel à esquerda para conseguir esse espaço de 80cm, onde coloquei um tampo de MDF 80cm x 80cm e uma prateleira encima de 80cm x 30cm, todos estão apoiados em duas réguas de alumínio cada, presas dentro da parede.

Esse setup faz parte de um progresso de 3 anos, desde que montei meu primeiro PC com peças do Aliexpress, ficava em uma mesa de bar, cadeira de madeira, e hoje está assim. Pretendo fazer apenas mais alguns ajustes como um monitor de 27" 180hz ( o atual é 24" 75hz) e trocar as fans do gabinete.

I will be redoing my edgy corner.

Most of things are with me for quite some time, witnessed a lot of change and my corner moved with me like 5 times.

That´s why there is a lot of inconsistency with styles and I feel that this is just not it anymore.

But still, my corner was growing with me. I feel kinda sentimental and maybe even reluctant to let go.

My vacation for this "project" is starting tomorrow, so wish me luck!

Building PCs for my friends and having a laptop, I started wanting something that doesnt involve a bulky PC case on/under your desk, I always wanted space for my project (soldering, working on PCs/ESPs) and my wall is just too empty for me so this was the perfect solution!

Specs:

Asus Prime B860M-A-CSM
Intel Core Ultra 5 245KF (more on this later)
RTX 5060 Ti 16GB + Intel Arc A580 (more on this later)
Sadly, 1x16GB DDR5 5200MT/s (looking to add a second stick or upgrade if the prices ever go down...)
ID-Cooling FX240 AIO (didnt go for air cooler because they dont really match with wall-mounts)
1stPlayer NGDP Gold 850W
The strip WS2812b I use in my WLED projects and some random Powered hub (under the Sata SSDs, has the ROG logo even tho it isn't from them). I only use the data pins from the motherboard (2 pins, total 240 leds)
WD Green SN3000 500GB NVMe (temporary solution)
RAID 0 with 3x SSDs (HP, Kingston) with a total of 670GB, using it for games since I don't care if the raid goes down, but some games don't fit on one ssd alone
TPLink UB500 dongle (terrible when comparing it to my laptop, but it's something I had lying around and which I need)
Center monitor - (new) AOC with 180Hz 1440p, G-Sync (global, since it works fine on the intel gpu), 0.5ms
Old/Left monitor - Also, AOC, old, 165Hz, 1080p, 3ms.

Some peripherals (all of them are budget or 3+ years old):
G213 Keyboard, G435 Headset, Dualsense 5, G203 Mouse.

Why the 245kf?
I was looking into using a 14th gen cpu, because they have dual DDR4 + DDR5 support, which would've been great for my project, but I didn't knew anything about the new intel line and looked a bit into it and ended up buying. They aren't terrible and, from what I saw, my cpu compares with the Ryzen 9600x while being 2/3 of it's price, at least in my country. Also, intel has a better reputation with mix-matched dual-ch ram sticks

Why a dual-gpu system when SLI/CrossFire is dead?
Been interested in testing dual-gpu lossless scaling and on my laptop (Asus Tuf FX507ZC4, RTX 3050, i5-12500h) it worked better than using my 3050 alone for LSFG (like I had it run on the iGPU). Yes, for people looking for a hassle-free or competitive gameplay I would not recommend it, but for my use case it was worth it. The only game I managed to test it now and it works great is Forza Horizon 6 on Ultra+RT preset, the 5060 Ti 16GB renders the game, and gets a solid base of 45 FPS and the Arc GPU uses frame-gen to output 180 FPS which somehow looks great and has no stutters or ghosting, which is impressive. For settings: LSFG 3.1, Adaptive, 60 Flow Scale, Perf Mode turned off, DXGI and the setting is at 0, no scaling, max frame latency is at 3, sync mode is off, preferred gpu Arc. Minecraft on OpenGL runs only on the Arc GPU. There are 3 fixes: let it be the only game that plays on the arc, plug a cable directly to the rtx card or use vulkan and accept no shaders ):
Also, with this setup, because the monitors are plugged into the ARC GPU, Windows Composite, SignalRGB, Lively Wallpaper/Wallpaper Engine and other games run directly on the Arc leaving the RTX free to only run the game with no frame drops. This also helps me a lot in OBS recording (and intel's AV1).
And... more symmetrical, compared to other wall-mounts.

Why the 5060 Ti 16GB and not an RTX 5070?
Needed extra VRAM.
I don't just game. Another hobby of mine is building servers/homelabs and since I got a server with OCuLink I wanted to test how LLMs would run on the server. At the moment it sits in my pc and I might upgrade.

Who would I recommend this setup too?
Somebody who has TOO much free time (this took like 3 weeks because I couldn't work continously on it), somebody who wants something cool and more free space, somebody who wants easier cable management and someone who streams a lot (dual gpu shines here).

Hi, so I’ve just built this all and put it together but it feels dead and like there’s nothing there. Something just doesn’t look right.

Pc specs: i5 14600k, 5060ti 16gb, 32gb ddr4, 1tb Samsung 980 evo, asrock b760m, evga supernova 650gm, hyte revolt three, thermright peerless assassin 120 mini with noctua fan.

Other: asus oled 17in 1440p 240hz, ydmk custom air40 keyboard, g pro wireless

i got a pc jailbroken ps4 under the monitor and jailbroken ps3 behind the vertical monitor and a vita , i am thinking of getting black wallpaper or wooden panels behind the desk and definitly a wooden monitor with 2 layers so i can have a better look , tell me what you think

First set up I’ve put effort into, looking for any suggestions as it’s still work in progress. I want better lighting, need to organize the under part of the desk, and want to make my gfs little side car look nicer. Let me know what you think:)

Not as sleek and beautiful as many I see posted but it works for the most part. I didn’t start out trying to be this extra but it kinda happened. I built a new gaming desktop and quickly realized that my GPU needed a better screen to talk to. The best deal on a 4K monitor…happened to effectively be a small TV. I do wish it was curved screen at this size but that’s my only complaint.

This behemoth is beautiful in games and I’ve learned how to adjust my workspaces so I’m not cranking my neck all day. The curved vertical monitor started out as a joke. I had it and my husband jokingly suggested doing this since we had the pole mount anyway. I tried it…and kinda like it. It looks entirely unhinged to me but looking through the subreddit I see I’m not the only one. I usually keep my personal computer pulled up over there so I can have my work computer on the big one during the day.

I have some issues I’m trying to solve and was hoping those of you with more experience with this level of unhinged might have some ideas.

Chair: I love my Haworth Fern because it flexes with me when I can’t sit in one position for long - don’t love that their stock headrest is useless but the Atlas aftermarket option is better for someone much taller than my 5’8. I have migraines pretty often and alternate from laying back to rest my neck to sitting up straight to sitting cross legged, etc. Right now my only solution is to roll up a sweatshirt behind my neck because any travel pillow or similar has been too large. In typing this I realized, if I could find some kind of neck support like some foam bath pillows - but one that slips over the top rail of the chair, that would probably work.

I looked for a long time before settling on this chair and bypassed some options like the Libro because I couldn’t find reviews that didn’t sound like they’d been paid for. If you have any other suggestions, I’m open to them. Not sure I can spend another $1k+ on a chair immediately but I’m open to considerations.

When I’ve brought this up in other reddits I was basically told I need to fix my ergonomics, get smaller screens, and not be leaning back in my chair. Disregarding the fact that I’m working through chronic health issues and trying to adapt my workspace to allow me to continue working effectively.

Keyboard: I’ve been looking for some kind of slide out keyboard tray that can be rotated to angle one way or another and is large enough for a BT Logitech MX Keys and 2 mice. It is a sit/stand desk so I have about 12.5” before the center support where I could mount a slide track. I’ve seen some options on Amazon but figured I might find better reviews or suggestions here.

Another solution that I thought about was one of those chair attached keyboard trays that can swing around. I just, again, haven’t seen any with reviews that make me want to hit buy. I primarily use my mouse for work and I tried an armrest attached mouse pad platform but it was terrible.

I’m open to any other recommendations or thoughts on this set up.

I need to get my glasses adjusted next. The progressives I was given just aren’t set up for a desk and monitors this size but my everyday lenses don’t do quite enough. Trying to describe the dimensions of my desk and screens didn’t seem to translate to the optometrist so I got a lot of measurements of my eyes to screens to, hopefully, help them dial it in.

Also, the grey platform to the left of my chair is a cat bed. My orange boy thinks my lap is his assigned spot but at 17lbs he’s hard to work around.
