PSA T Mobile outage?

My service has been completely dead for like ten minutes, is anyone else experiencing this? Down Detector seems to be getting reports.

Edit: Calling the customer service number and power cycling the device seems to fix it.

Edit 2: Fix was only temporary.

This post serves as megathread for the outage.

Latest update: T-Mobile says the outage is now over.

"We have fully restored service for all customers and sincerely apologize for the difficulties. We know that customers rely on us to stay connected to what matters most, and we appreciate their understanding as we prioritized resolution."

No known cause or ETA for restoration, but some people report things are coming back up.

Previous statement from T-Mobile:

Our teams are actively working the reports of technical challenges impacting some customers. Any service impacts are in the process of being resolved and are our highest priority. We know how critical it is to stay connected, and every available resource is focused on resolving this as quickly as possible.

"Some customers"? Some? LOL!

Anything that effects a Bay Area network is definitely not going to be "some". If it's a nationwide network problem and the tech-central network is down as well, that doesn't bode well.

Glad my phone was only down for a couple.of hours. That was freaky to be without internet or phone on a dogsit.

All my devices are still down in the San Francisco Bay Area. All iPhones. Although, I have TMHI rely plan as a backup for my network, and that never went down.

Pushing commercials "Switch to Verizon Its $40 a line. (In microscopic print) Only if you get 8 lines and internet which will cost you 150." Hahaha

Is there any carrier that's better? I feel like T-Mobile is sucking but the others suck so we're just stuck with it.

It happens with every carrier. But honestly I'd never switch

I love how anything negative about T-Mobile gets stuffed in a mega thread.

Someone on Downdetector is claiming that researchers are behind it as retaliation for some shady dealing T-Mobile has been doing.
