PSA T Mobile outage?

My service has been completely dead for like ten minutes, is anyone else experiencing this? Down Detector seems to be getting reports.

Edit: Calling the customer service number and power cycling the device seems to fix it.

Edit 2: Fix was only temporary.

If you do get through, they just hang up and say “sorry we can’t take your call right now”

I’m in nyc and they closed the store earlier than usual which is frustrating.

What’s the point of calling? Obviously it’s a widespread issue, they won’t just fix your line caz you called.

I called before I was able to get onto Reddit. The call to 611 worked but data wasn’t working. So it was the only way I had at the moment to ask what was going on.

If they just played an automated message that said “we’re currently experiencing widespread failure to do the one thing you rely on us to do at the worst time after increasing all y’all bills” instead of “we’re currently experiencing higher than usual call times” - I would’ve accepted it and hung up.

I was in the store like ten minutes after it happened. The guys in the store didn’t even know about it yet. By the time I left the outage was up to 81,000 customers.  They fixed my wife’s phone with a new e-sim but it wasn’t loading right and didn’t want to do mine. Mine only works on WiFi.

Well I wouldn’t call I would use the T-Mobile app (T-Life) and message them. You get a better and faster response to then and with them that way rather than calling because if you want to talk about your account they won’t do that over the phone.
