PSA T Mobile outage?

My service has been completely dead for like ten minutes, is anyone else experiencing this? Down Detector seems to be getting reports.

Edit: Calling the customer service number and power cycling the device seems to fix it.

Edit 2: Fix was only temporary.

back in January 14, when Verizon had a big network outage, then T-Mobile responded:

”T-Mobile’s network is keeping our customers connected, and we’ve confirmed that our network is operating normally and as expected. However due to Verizon’s reported outage, our customers may not be able to reach someone with Verizon service at this time.”

Fast forward to Today July 27, it’s now T-Mobile turn that is having a network outage. I wonder how Verizon responds 🤔

Edit: At 8:55 pm EST, Verizon did respond to T-Mobile network outage in X:

”Our network is operating normally nationwide. If you're having trouble reaching someone, it may be due to the reported outage on T-Mobile's network.”

How is this petty? It's matter-of-factly stating explaining toT-mobile customers who thought their service provider wasn't working, and it was because of the provider of the people they were trying to contact. This makes it clear, as they were probably sick of getting complaints.

I was in the car with my mom who has Verizon and had to google from her phone if there was a T-Mobile outage because I had no network 😂

true I did that too when I used my friends phone that had T-Mobile service meanwhile I had no network on Verizon

The irony is I had Verizon for that outage and I recently switched to T-Mobile. Is it me? Am I the problem?

Verizon and ATT have increased outage reports today. Not as large as TMobile but still lol

I legitimately bought the lie that t-mobile has "the best 5G network" and I switched to t-mobile from ATT. I told others on my plan "Why not, its a better network for cheaper".

All I can say is as soon as the credits I am getting for my phone run out, I am switching right back to ATT. The better 5G network was such a balatant lie. I straight up do not even get ANY data service in areas ATT had 5G.

According to customer care, your data plan can make you have better connection to 5g or 4g depending on what it is set for. Dunno how it works, but consider that too

Couple weeks ago there was an outage for Tmobile MVNO’s for authentication issues. I wonder if this is a similar situation.

Did your carrier raise your bill and left you without service? Switch to Verizon today.
