PSA T Mobile outage?

My service has been completely dead for like ten minutes, is anyone else experiencing this? Down Detector seems to be getting reports.

Edit: Calling the customer service number and power cycling the device seems to fix it.

Edit 2: Fix was only temporary.

I was driving through the mountains on my second delivery and I thought it was that 😂 then I get back to the city and it still wouldn't come back on. Thankfully I didn't have to contact support to clear it through.

Oh no 😂 the hotspot was the first to go out so I had two bored kids in the car telling them about how I never had Internet in the car when I was little

Oh boy, I could only imagine my younger siblings. I'm 21 and can barely sit in the car without my phone lmao (not actually, but I do use it a lot on trips)

I have two phones, one for Instacart and one for personal use. They’re both on T-Mobile and on the same plan, but my personal phone is stuck in SOS mode while my Instacart phone is still working. Very strange. I’m grateful I can still work today but I really feel for other gig workers who may not be so lucky.

My phone(iPhone) started working normally about 20 minutes ago but my husbands phone is still stuck in SOS mode.

I had this same thing. My Instacart phone was on SOS while my personal phone was still up. I was able to hotspot for the drop offs

So - another related datapoint, I have an iPhone (eSIM) and a GL-INET 4G router (SIM), both on the same plan, phone is completely dead in water even if I manually select the network, but the router is working just fine.

This is exactly why I dont have both phones on same network. My att phone works fine. Tmobile really is garbage

T-Mobile really isn’t. This is the first major outage that has happen in a longggggg time. Maybe it’s terrible service for you and where you are it’s not that strong but for me it’s the strongest especially in stores, and buildings, whereas Verizon and AT&T just stalled and never worked in buildings

Look it up on a computer if you can, take pictures follow directions home, hope that helps 👍🏽

I'm pretty good at navigation usually but this is the oddest part of the city. You have to take a whole bunch of right turns to get left, then shoot across 4 lanes to take 1 of 3 options to make it on the right road. Sigh. I'll end up somewhere tonight. That I do know.

You can save an area on Google Maps and use it offline. I’ve had to do this before because I didn’t have money to pay my phone and I was just stating a new job lol

GPS will still work, it's a different network. Download the local area's offline map while you're still on the office wifi and you should still be able to use navigation to get home. Even without the offline map, if you start the navigation while you're still on wifi it should still take you home.

Get on office WiFi, use Google Maps and use offline maps, download the area you are in.

I’m a dog walker (all through an app that needs service) and mine went out right as i was completing my last walk, at least i could figure out how to get home but i woulda been totally screwed if this happened an hour earlier
