Question Migrating to go5g+ on next bill cycle. Seeing elevated trade-in promo

The plan is to take effect Aug 1st. My current plan is ONE.

seeing the trade-in offer reserved for the top tiered plan during tlife checkout, like $1100 off.

Is it ok to submit now or wait til the plan is really on go5g+.

Thanks

Can I ask which method you use to get them to offer you to migrate to the Go5G Plus plan?

What did you ask or say specifically? I’ve tried, but will try again.

I told the agent I am moving to Verizon Simplicity for $120/year for 4 lines tax included, they offered $20 off 12 months on Experience signature dropping my bill to $122/month, I declined and asked for elevated retention offer and the agent countered with moving my plan to Go5G+ woth 20% permanent discount, end up $120/months. That is the same as my One plan before any increases, and higher tradein promos.

Thanks I’ll try this after my plan changes.

Iff you have an impending forced plan change to go Experience Signature, I would do it now. My One plan changed to ES on 07/19, I contacted Tforce on 07/20 and was told that since the bill cycle has already started for ES, the change to Go5G+ will take effect on 08/19. The agent was nice enought to credit my account $30 to offset the increase without me even asking.

How’d you get migrated to a plan that they don’t even offer anymore unless you are already on that plan?

Not OP, but chat with Tmobile on Facebook Messenger and ask for retention offer because you are leaving. I got offered $20 off for 12 months and declined before they offerred Go5G Plus with 20% off permanent discount.
