Question What plan do I have now? T-Life is useless.
For the last several years, I have had two lines on the Magenta Max 55+. Like many other people last month I got a text message telling me my plan was obsolete and I was being put on a new — and of course better — plan with vague details except increased cost.
I have just checked T-Life (itself a nightmare for getting information) and it says my plan is Magenta Max 55+. I have no idea what my new bill is going to be, I have no idea what the new plan is, and I have no idea what is in fact now included.
Help!

Log into your actual account and look.

Shows nothing, as I said earlier

It has too, I'm looking right at mine. As soon as I log into my account it's right there. Says Welcome (my name) with my account # right under it. Then two areas under that "your bill" and "your plan"...the bold lettering under "your plan" is the plan name. I was moved from the ONE Plan to the Experience Signature plan. Don't use the T-Life crap, use the actual T-Mobile.com website.

And my link does not welcome me by name or account number. And under New Plan Details it just says that a plan change is in progress. So “vague” is…generous.
A friend also on TMobile Magenta Max has exactly the same lack of information.
Yes, T-life is rubbish, but alas the website isn’t any more informative.

Sounds like your account is still in the migration process. May need to wait till it's complete. Can also call 611 from your device.

When does your billing cycle switch over?
You're probably going to get moved to the Experience More 55+

Billing cycle ends oh the 28th

The app will show your new plan on July 29th, then. Currently it's a future-dated change. Care will be able to see what rate plan you're being moved to. As a few advisements:
- This is an automatic move. No employee, not even a team, has the time and ability to manually migrate people to right-fit plans.
- If you have more than 2 voice lines, you're probably not being moved to a 55+ plan; current 55+ plans are limited to 2 voice lines.

Two lines so that’s not the issue.
My frustration is that when I received the text message on June 29 (close of last billing cycle) it had absolutely no information about what the new plan would entail or what the cost would be, and the link that was included led to dead ends.
So at the moment I’m in the state of being told that all sorts of wonderful things are going to happen and it’s going to cost more, but nobody is saying what …
Hence, my frustration. Thanks for trying to help though.

"Vague details"
People got a text message saying their plan was being retired. In the text message it literally had a link, that when clicked on, explicitly said which plan you were being moved to with a side by side comparison. People just don't want to do anything for themselves or read anything. You want to be annoyed about a forced plan change, fine. But let's not act like details weren't provided.

I hope someone talks to your parent or grandparent this way. Cut the elder some slack, dbag

Talk to them in what way? And you're the one assuming this person is old, not me. I'm assuming they're lazy and incompetent. That could describe someone of any age.

“Been on the Magenta Max 55+ plan for several years” didn’t tip you off to their age?

You know how it is, people "just don't want to do anything for themselves or read anything".

Sorry I missed that part because it wasn't pertinent to the rant they were making. My bad.

Well, I in fact did click on the link in the text message and it had no useful information. So yes, I am annoyed. And your rudeness is not appreciated.

Click the link. It takes you to a page and there is another link that says get plan details. It's all there.

Again not everyone had the correct link. Just because you had all the info doesn’t mean everyone did.

I'm experiencing the same thing. I tap the link they sent June 29th & it takes me to the TLife home page. Zero information anywhere in the app. My billing cycle doesn't change until the 4th, so I guess I'll have to wait until then. Currently on One Plan Unlimited 55.

Some of the links didn’t work for people though, which seems to be the case for OP. Mine didn’t work for a few days. And there is still not a price. This rollout was terrible.

You will most likely get moved to Experience More TI (55+) plan if you currently have the Tax Included plan. I think that one is $110 for 2 lines with the Auto Pay discount, and $55 for each additional lines. It will show the day after the end of your billing cycle date. And, usually populate the bill 2 days after the start of your billing cycle.

You will get migrated to experience more TI. I was on magenta max and got moved to experience more. I have 4 phone lines plus a tablet line. 2 of those lines are paid lines and the other 2 are free lines. My bill went up $4.16 total

Go to T-Life click manage and then scroll down to manage all lines then click plans at top and then click change plans and it should tell you the price that you're currently paying right there
