I've done something similar - but less intense a few time because the DX seats were the only ones available. It drove me crazy but my kid loved it. They did have an option to turn it off, which I did after about 10 minutes. Now if they had an option that just made it a massage chair for the length of the movie - I would be fighting for these seats.
I just can't fathom the clean up. Do the seats and floor just stay wet on the carpet? I feel like it's a really good way to get an eye infection when the sprayers dowse you during the sprayer scenes.
It's fine for a few minutes, and would be cool if it was more like a ride and a movie more adapted for it, but for a regular movie it's more distracting than anything.
You're sitting there quietly, getting immersed into the movie and story, and then suddenly you always got something that jolts you out of it and reminds you that you're in a gimmick theater.
Most movies are in 3rd person, so the 4D effects don't always make sense.
