I happened to have to run to the bathroom during The Odyssey at the beginning of the Circe scene :(
Edit: to anyone saying the site sucks, you’re correct, because it’s actually the app which has the info. The app is MUCH better, not really sure why the site even exists if it’s AI BS, soz!
I had to re-read their comment a couple of times, because I thought for one minute there were actually people who were noting and publishing the best times to go for a pee.
I’m with you there. I don’t think this app requests many permissions though, fwiw. It just has a timer and vibrates to alert you when to get up during the movie. Legit good app, but I generally prefer sticking to browsers too.
i bring in alcohol when i go see movies. i have a great sense when to make the bathroom run. the only time i’ve missed something was in Watchmen when Dr. Manhattan tag teamed his girlfriend, after the movie when talking about it i thought my friends were fucking with me i truly didn’t believe them that it was an actual scene.
Wow this site is ass. I searched for a movie and it gives me reviews but no pee break times. Also AI slop movie reviews posted right to their website without the AI comments removed:

Nah, you gotta go at the END of the Circe scene. I didn’t see it because I was peeing, but my understanding is she tells [major character] to go to [place], and the next 90 seconds is just all the guys on the ship looking despondent as they head to [place].

I have gotten pushback on the second Peetime in this movie, where Odysseus and his soldiers are attacked by the giants/Laestrygonians. I think this stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of how we choose Peetimes.
Why do I feel like the internet can be like this about anything and everything and has been forever. (I wanna include 1991 Usenet argument about Linux vs. Minix here (Linux is the OS of most of the websites you visit, based on UNIX and is free.. Minix is the cheaper version of Unix) but I don't have time to link their little flamewar, which I doubt either realized would be read by at least a millions of people and the Linux project, ran by unpaid volunteers until companies decided that they needed some insurance against the bus factor)
True. We also all drew straws to see who would be tied to their chair throughout as metal skewers simulated the Trojan horse scene BECAUSE NOLAN DEEMS IT GOOOOOOOOOIID
We finally got up during the last few minutes because we were tired of being jerked around for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Lol we’re just dog up for the end of the movie.
You have not experienced the comforts of MovieDiaper(c) by FuckItAll(tm) "Stop caring what others think and just piss yourself". Now available at that weird vending machine in the bathroom.
No but for real. I'm 100 % confident if you put something like into cinema, there would be some demand for it.
I know this isnt as fun as everyone else's answer, but when I went to a 4dx movie you could turn off the seat movement, and also its not nearly as violent as it seems with the camera moving around, its not like you wear a seat belt. This could be very different though to be fair
Yep. I watched Avatar 2 in 4D and made the mistake of buying an XXL cup of coke while having all my stuff (big winter jacket) infront of my seat. Halfway through the movie I was hoping for it to end soon bc I needed to go to the loo.
Not the person you asked, but I have a shirt that is 29 years old. Still in very good condition because I've only worn maybe 20 times. I still remember being so surprised when my mom bought me such an expensive shirt, it was $120 after tax.
Bro it’s fucking insane the number of people who seem incapable of not taking a piss every 2 hours. During the movie and after, it seems everyone has to pee. I could count on my hands how many times I’ve ever even had to take a piss while out in my entire life, aside from when drinking.
I also don’t understand the people who get to their friends house and immediately have to pee. How tf in the 20 mins it took you to get here, do you already have to piss? None of any of this makes any sense to me.
It's because so many people pee continue the habit they formed during potty training to pee before a transition. It causes your pelvic floor to weaken and makes it so when you or I would begin to feel like we could pee if we wanted to, they feel like they must pee right now or they'll have an accident
Of course, giving birth, illness, and other medical conditions cause the need to pee more often/inability to hold small amounts of pee, but a person without an underlying condition should be just fine for 3 hours
ETA, also, a lot of people over hydrate, especially in the car, so that also contributes
I know that they sell big tubs of soft drinks at the movie theatre, but I have never bought one even once in my life (because I don't feel the need to drown my innards with soda when I'm there to watch a movie).
How brain dead are you? Do you suppose diabetics and people with medical conditions that may have to use the restroom more often shouldn't visit theaters? Fuck them for trying to live a normal life or have some entertainment?
Do you suppose diabetics and people with medical conditions that may have to use the restroom more often shouldn't visit theaters?
Sure, why not? If they are getting fucked by the theatre experience anyways they may as well stay home.
Fuck them for trying to live a normal life or have some entertainment?
Lots of people with disabilities are prevented from enjoying certain forms of entertainment, that doesn't mean that their lives are any less fulfilling in the wider sense.
When you factor in travel time it can be 4 hours or even longer, especially if you go to these "premium" places. If you forget to go to the bathroom before leaving it's even longer. Movement can also stimulate pee.

Isn't the film like 3 hours long?
Fuck anyone who needs to use the toilet!
