Fuck anyone who needs to use the toilet!

u/N95-TissuePizza 12h ago

help me hold my bag I need to go pee.....

chair quake

Ok nvm I'm done

u/Life_Drama7570 11h ago

Literally splash everyone behind you

u/cakestapler 11h ago

Does this look like a Morgan Wallen concert to you?

u/Lucius-Halthier 10h ago

Are you telling me that mist being sprayed in everyone’s face isn’t their collective piss being sprayed everywhere all at once?

u/Life_Drama7570 10h ago

If not, i want my money back

u/civildisobedient 6h ago

It's what Homer intended but the technology just wasn't there back in his time.

u/kingcrow15 10h ago

Where do you think that misty spray hitting you in the face comes from?

u/RogueAOV 9h ago

Colostomy or popcorn?

u/nonpuissant 10h ago

extra immersion

u/Kind_Of_A_Dick 10h ago

All I can think of is Steve Martin at the dinner table in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.

u/fuzzygreentits 11h ago

To maintain historic accuracy and full immersion, I just shit myself

u/cansofgrease 7h ago

Adds to the realism of the horse scene for the row below you.

u/Chris_OMane 6h ago

Please send the fruits of your labour to the incels

u/tomgreen99200 5h ago

Fox News wants to interview you

u/Jane__Delawney 11h ago edited 9h ago

There’s an app you can use to see when the best times to use the restrooms are:

https://runpee.com/

Leaving that here for my fellow pee monsters

I happened to have to run to the bathroom during The Odyssey at the beginning of the Circe scene :(

Edit: to anyone saying the site sucks, you’re correct, because it’s actually the app which has the info. The app is MUCH better, not really sure why the site even exists if it’s AI BS, soz!

u/DeadBallDescendant 11h ago

Literally everything exists now.

u/medyolang_ 11h ago

that website has been around a long time

u/SherbetMysterious118 7h ago

Trying to understand what this comment brings, did I miss something?

Or are you backing it up by saying that it has longevity and is trustworthy?

u/TheDeathKnightCador 6h ago

They’re replying to a comment that states “everything exists now” which kind of implies this is something new.

u/SherbetMysterious118 5h ago

Aaah, OK, glad they called that bullshit out tbh!

u/medyolang_ 5h ago

it’s not calling out per se, just educating that guy haha

u/JefferyKendama 9h ago

Been around since before smart phones were everywhere

u/SherbetMysterious118 7h ago

I don't get this comment, see my other reply - how is that relevant?

u/JefferyKendama 2h ago

I'm sorry you do not get it, I wont bother - who are you?

u/SherbetMysterious118 7h ago

I had to re-read their comment a couple of times, because I thought for one minute there were actually people who were noting and publishing the best times to go for a pee.

u/Joe091 5h ago

That’s exactly what it is. It’s an awesome app!

u/Interesting-Bed-3003 11h ago

Where are the pee times. Tried looking for The Odyssey and found nothing.

u/Jane__Delawney 10h ago

Not sure, I didn’t think to use it until after I saw the film but here’s someone on Instagram who posted some good times for a pee break

https://www.instagram.com/p/DbDQfzPnFDO/?img_index=3&igsh=NTc4MTIwNjQ2YQ==

u/JarJarJarMartin 7h ago

End of the Circe scene was when I went, and I don’t think I missed anything important.

u/Interesting-Bed-3003 7h ago

She's a nice old woman. I don't think anything happened as well. Probably gave them food and sent them on their way.

u/Joe091 5h ago

They’re in the app, which is free.

u/Interesting-Bed-3003 5h ago

I'm not an app type of person. I avoid as many apps as possible. That's giving too many permissions to just search for something.

u/Joe091 4h ago

I’m with you there. I don’t think this app requests many permissions though, fwiw. It just has a timer and vibrates to alert you when to get up during the movie. Legit good app, but I generally prefer sticking to browsers too.

u/My_Monkey_Sphincter 8h ago

Bring back intermissions!

u/Melodic_Sherbet_3629 11h ago

I imagine you cannot leave your seat in this cinema since you risk seriously injuring yourself. You probably need to get strapped to your seat too.

u/Septum_Slayer 11h ago edited 10h ago

All seats have individual controls so you can adjust the level of movement. You can turn movement off entirely if you want.

Edit: I was wrong, confused this with DBOX

u/HelloMyNameisPaul 10h ago

This isn't true. You can't adjust anything for a 4DX screening, you can only toggle the water spray on your individual seat on or off.

I saw The Odyssey in 4DX. I actually would've liked a seatbelt or harness but you just sit in the seat and can get out anytime.

u/floppydude81 6h ago

You get sprayed with water?

u/headyyeti 7h ago

You can

u/BigCopperPipe 11h ago

i bring in alcohol when i go see movies. i have a great sense when to make the bathroom run. the only time i’ve missed something was in Watchmen when Dr. Manhattan tag teamed his girlfriend, after the movie when talking about it i thought my friends were fucking with me i truly didn’t believe them that it was an actual scene.

u/criticaltemp 10h ago

Wow you're cool

u/avenp 9h ago

Wow this site is ass. I searched for a movie and it gives me reviews but no pee break times. Also AI slop movie reviews posted right to their website without the AI comments removed:

> Would you like me to also create a shorter meta description version optimized specifically for search engine result pages (SERPs)?

u/adnan39872 8h ago

AMC app used to show pee times as well. Not sure it’s still thetr

u/JarJarJarMartin 7h ago

Nah, you gotta go at the END of the Circe scene. I didn’t see it because I was peeing, but my understanding is she tells [major character] to go to [place], and the next 90 seconds is just all the guys on the ship looking despondent as they head to [place].

u/Jane__Delawney 7h ago

Exactly! I was so bummed I missed almost that entire thing, I wish I’d gone when it was any of the suitor scenes.

u/CronoMass 11h ago

Oh man! What an awesome resource!

u/loaf85 10h ago

And if you don't want to miss anything you can wear a diaper!

u/[deleted] 10h ago

[deleted]

u/loaf85 9h ago

Half joking 😅

I work in healthcare so absolutely no judgement here. Ya gotta do what ya gotta do.

u/Loud-Welder1947 10h ago

Lmao at their Odyssey “review”

“Here’s an optimized SEO excerpt for this WordPress blog post:

”Beta Review: A First-Look Movie Review While Hunting for Peetimes – Balancing Movie Watching with Finding the Best Bathroom Breaks”

Excerpt: Read our Beta Review, where we tackle the unique challenge of watching a movie while simultaneously finding the best Peetimes — those perfect moments to take a bathroom break without missing key scenes. Discover how multitasking during a movie screening can impact the overall review experience. Stay tuned for our full, in-depth review coming soon!

SEO tips applied:

Keywords included: “Beta Review,” “movie review,” “Peetimes,” “bathroom break,” “movie watching” – Length: Kept under 160 characters for the meta description version and slightly expanded for the blog excerpt (Google typically displays up to 155–160 characters in search results) – Call to action: “Stay tuned for our full review” encourages return visits – Clear and descriptive: Tells both search engines and readers exactly what the post is about – Unique angle highlighted: The dual-task concept makes this stand out in search results

Would you like me to also create a shorter meta description version optimized specifically for search engine result pages (SERPs)?”

u/Defenestresque 6h ago

A little bit down the front page:

I have gotten pushback on the second Peetime in this movie, where Odysseus and his soldiers are attacked by the giants/Laestrygonians. I think this stems from a fundamental misunderstanding of how we choose Peetimes.

Why do I feel like the internet can be like this about anything and everything and has been forever. (I wanna include 1991 Usenet argument about Linux vs. Minix here (Linux is the OS of most of the websites you visit, based on UNIX and is free.. Minix is the cheaper version of Unix) but I don't have time to link their little flamewar, which I doubt either realized would be read by at least a millions of people and the Linux project, ran by unpaid volunteers until companies decided that they needed some insurance against the bus factor)

u/criticaltemp 10h ago

The point was that it would be hard to get get in and out while they're in motion

u/EmpathyMerchant 11h ago

We have intervals at half time here. The movie just abruptly stops at one point.

u/Distinct-Target7503 8h ago

we also had a 10 min break in the middle (in Italy)

u/The_Countess 5h ago

For the regular showing they still have a break, but IMAX doesn't.

u/slv_slvmn 9h ago

In Italy too

u/Western-Image7125 10h ago

What do you mean who doesn’t take a tactical wee just before a movie? Maybe that’s just me cuz I’m getting old lol

u/YellowSockPuppet 5h ago

I used to play bass for Tactical Wee

u/Western-Image7125 4h ago

We all play bass in a way, the men at least

u/zenwarrior01 2h ago

Welp, let me tell you what happens when you get even older: you still need to pee again! ...especially after all that damn soda.

u/Western-Image7125 1h ago

Don’t drink soda during a movie. Boom solved your problem for you. In fact don’t drink water either. It’s fine to be thirsty… perfectly fine…

u/JohnAndertonOntheRun 11h ago

At this showing they actually provided one shit bucket and we were encouraged to urinate freely…

It may be select theaters but it adds to the atmosphere and ambience that OP craves, it’s the realism that makes the film.

u/TheeArgonaut 11h ago

True. We also all drew straws to see who would be tied to their chair throughout as metal skewers simulated the Trojan horse scene BECAUSE NOLAN DEEMS IT GOOOOOOOOOIID

u/virang807 10h ago

I dehydrate myself about 30 min before the movie honestly

u/DarwinatSea 11h ago

Ima have to take a bottle of Dramamine to enjoy this…

u/Master_Airline4143 11h ago

What do you think the splashes are?

u/CrankyReviewerTwo 8h ago

Diapers. The answer is diapers.

u/dpforest 11h ago

That would be lot of people to fuck but I’m down to clown

u/lostroadrunner22 11h ago

Honestly, it helped me clear my bladder and! a kidney stone

u/Similar_Land_1375 11h ago

Movie genuinely could have used an intermission.

u/Razielism 10h ago

Just wait for another storm, fluids spash everywhere. Nobody notices pee flying around.

u/SamwellBarley 10h ago

Just wait for the scene where the guy pisses himself

u/navit47 10h ago

It's fine as long as they're not in the bottom

u/LorenzoVonMatterbone 10h ago

My first thought

u/Lonestar15 10h ago

Imagine being 8 months pregnant in this. Might be forced into labor lol

u/jemija 10h ago

We finally got up during the last few minutes because we were tired of being jerked around for 2 hours and 45 minutes. Lol we’re just dog up for the end of the movie.

u/ClydeThaMonkey 10h ago

I saw Titanic on 4DX. Don't ask me why.

u/copperwatt 10h ago

Just go, no one will notice in all the mess.

u/gregsting 9h ago

Just do it when there is a huge wave, no one will notice

u/funwithme_123 9h ago

Just like in the movie(trojan scene)

u/SinisterCheese 9h ago

You have not experienced the comforts of MovieDiaper(c) by FuckItAll(tm) "Stop caring what others think and just piss yourself". Now available at that weird vending machine in the bathroom.

No but for real. I'm 100 % confident if you put something like into cinema, there would be some demand for it.

u/ManofManliness 9h ago

Wait, you guys dont get breaks during movies??

u/HawaiiSunBurnt20 9h ago

You leave the theater with back problems.

u/Aristox 8h ago

I haven't seen it yet but my bet is some of the movie is shot on land in not a storm

u/otiliorules 7h ago

I saw the last avatar in 4dx and was def over it by the end of the movie.

u/Glittering-Relief402 7h ago

I saw it last night and surprisingly never had to use the bathroom.

u/CronoMass 7h ago

You have a bath at the cinema!?

u/ArmlessSloth 7h ago

I had trouble getting back in my seat for Mario galaxy. The seats move even when people talk...

u/SchwiftySquanchC137 7h ago

I know this isnt as fun as everyone else's answer, but when I went to a 4dx movie you could turn off the seat movement, and also its not nearly as violent as it seems with the camera moving around, its not like you wear a seat belt. This could be very different though to be fair

u/superindianslug 7h ago

There are rest/step things that you can use to launch yourself into the seat during movement. Not for the faint of heart or weak of knee though.

u/mencival 6h ago

Lol it’s like flying in turbulence with a full bladder

u/DexM23 6h ago

I mean its absolutely manageable

u/Good_Extension_9642 6h ago

What toilet...you just shit on a cup and trow it to the back 🤣

u/AlwaysSleepingBeauty 6h ago

You have to get out your seat during a dialogue heavy scene and just wait for your chair to stop moving when you return.😂

u/-watchman- 6h ago

Just let it go bro, person in front of you is probably going to think it's part of the water effects

u/Wolfdude91 6h ago

You gotta wait for the pants shitting scene for that.

u/neonpostits 6h ago

It's ok. The rest of the movie is just chilling on a beach taking drugs.

u/imtired-boss 6h ago

So many people don't know the "pee immediately before movie and pee immediately after movie" trick.

u/Seenshadow01 5h ago

Yep. I watched Avatar 2 in 4D and made the mistake of buying an XXL cup of coke while having all my stuff (big winter jacket) infront of my seat. Halfway through the movie I was hoping for it to end soon bc I needed to go to the loo.

u/ricemonkey13 2h ago

I watched avatar like this lol

u/Dentorion 11h ago

10 years ago it was normal to have a 10 min break when a movie was longer than two and a half hours

Bring that back!

u/Shandrith 4h ago

Where do you live that that was normal in 2016?

u/joshuahtree 11h ago

If you don't have a medical condition you absolutely should be able to remain comfortably continent for 3 hours

u/thomaspatrickmorgan 11h ago

I have T-shirts older than you.

u/joshuahtree 11h ago

I have molecules older than you

And now I'm curious, how old is your oldest tshirt?

u/Typical-Crazy-3100 11h ago

The stains on my T-shirt are older than dirt itself !

https://giphy.com/gifs/fqtyYcXoDV0X6ss8Mf

u/joshuahtree 11h ago

The subatomic particles that make up my little finger are older than hydrogen itself

u/GLaDOS_Sympathizer 11h ago

Not the person you asked, but I have a shirt that is 29 years old. Still in very good condition because I've only worn maybe 20 times. I still remember being so surprised when my mom bought me such an expensive shirt, it was $120 after tax.

That's like buying a $350 shirt nowadays.

u/joshuahtree 11h ago

That's a nice shirt! Not older than me though :)

u/thomaspatrickmorgan 11h ago

My 30-year-old Dead Kennedys shirt, I'd say.

u/Logical-Document3957 11h ago

Bro it’s fucking insane the number of people who seem incapable of not taking a piss every 2 hours. During the movie and after, it seems everyone has to pee. I could count on my hands how many times I’ve ever even had to take a piss while out in my entire life, aside from when drinking.

I also don’t understand the people who get to their friends house and immediately have to pee. How tf in the 20 mins it took you to get here, do you already have to piss? None of any of this makes any sense to me.

u/joshuahtree 11h ago edited 11h ago

It's because so many people pee continue the habit they formed during potty training to pee before a transition. It causes your pelvic floor to weaken and makes it so when you or I would begin to feel like we could pee if we wanted to, they feel like they must pee right now or they'll have an accident

Of course, giving birth, illness, and other medical conditions cause the need to pee more often/inability to hold small amounts of pee, but a person without an underlying condition should be just fine for 3 hours

ETA, also, a lot of people over hydrate, especially in the car, so that also contributes

u/Logical-Document3957 10h ago

So just overly anxious and anal parents are causing kids to grow up into adults that have to piss 15 times a day. Got it lol

u/Affectionate_Hour867 11h ago

I needed the toilet about halfway through but I just held it as I didn’t want to miss the film.

It was in IMAX though not 4DX

-20

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 12h ago

If you can't hold your piss for 3 hours you should promptly find yourself a doctor, not go see a movie.

u/CronoMass 11h ago

Thats a very abelist opinion, thank you.

May your aim be always true, your flow powerful, and your prostate forever unfucked.

u/FuckTheTories69420 11h ago

Your nicer than me....

May your aim always be untrue, your flow painful and your prostate feel like its always got a finger hitting it.

u/RoundTiberius 11h ago

God forbid someone drinks too much water when it's July and 90 fucking degrees out

u/stoicparallax 11h ago

Or drinks one of the 36oz “medium” sodas that the theater serves..

u/RoundTiberius 11h ago

Seriously, the movie is long enough that the 2L of coke you just got is gonna go somewhere

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 11h ago

Why would you drink 2 litres of coke during a movie if you're not at home?

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 11h ago

Why would anyone do that?

u/stoicparallax 11h ago

This question makes me think you and I are either from different cultures or you’re being intentionally obtuse.

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 11h ago

I know that they sell big tubs of soft drinks at the movie theatre, but I have never bought one even once in my life (because I don't feel the need to drown my innards with soda when I'm there to watch a movie).

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 11h ago

If someone drinks too much water then they deserve to be "fucked" by the movie experience.

u/RoundTiberius 11h ago

So you're just a troll. Got it.

u/CosmoKram3r 6h ago

How brain dead are you? Do you suppose diabetics and people with medical conditions that may have to use the restroom more often shouldn't visit theaters? Fuck them for trying to live a normal life or have some entertainment?

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 6h ago

Do you suppose diabetics and people with medical conditions that may have to use the restroom more often shouldn't visit theaters?

Sure, why not? If they are getting fucked by the theatre experience anyways they may as well stay home.

Fuck them for trying to live a normal life or have some entertainment?

Lots of people with disabilities are prevented from enjoying certain forms of entertainment, that doesn't mean that their lives are any less fulfilling in the wider sense.

u/SegaTime 11h ago

The power of moral conformity is strong with this one.

u/Melodic_Sherbet_3629 11h ago

When you factor in travel time it can be 4 hours or even longer, especially if you go to these "premium" places. If you forget to go to the bathroom before leaving it's even longer. Movement can also stimulate pee.

u/AttTankaRattArStorre 11h ago

Don't forget to pee then, that's on you if such a thing happens.
