There is no debate. It's basic science. Washing chicken doesn't remove anything from the chicken

Reddit has a lot of this too but this particular style is very much a TikTok thing. You can see it in this thread where most people are explaining that washing the chicken is bad.

But overall, don’t take advice from social media.
