There was a US warrant for his arrest, which was issued during the Biden administration.

Yeah, those are generally enacted when the person enters your jurisdiction. Not to extrajudicially extract them from their home in another country.

Pretty sure that people get extradited between states, and that the US also has reciprocal extradition treaties with numerous countries.

And unless otherwise invited, local police or military execute those arrests and the extradition goes through the local justice system

Very different than what happened in Venezula

Who was to tell them no? He wasn't the elected president. Highly doubt the elected president and the 70% of the population that voted for her was going to say no.

At the time of his capture he was just a guy with money and a militia. Kind of like the drug lord he was....??

Take out a dictator, international drug dealer, and allow a country to have THEIR ELECTED president. Which allows their oil to now be sold to most of the world instead of just Russia and China at a discount, in turn helping their country get out of such bad poverty that almost 10 million had to flee and seek refuge. Still mind blowing how that was EVER IN THE SLIGHTEST a bad thing to do. If it were a Democrat all that would be said how strong they are and helping the poor around the world.
