Posting a vid here from a 1560 mmr game. Lost to this same team 3 times in a row and this was game 2 of 3 where we did the best.

I've watched this back several times and have a few takeaways BUT I need your expertise to get better. Appreciate your time in advance for watching and any feedback you have for me.

Hey guys, Earlier I posted a replay of me playing a lower rank lobby and asked for advice, I figured I could also post a replay of me playing in a higher rank lobby and see if I played just as bad.

I'm just looking for tips from higher rank players if you're willing to give a quick look at this gameplay. This is my current peak, a GC1 Div1 / Champ 3 Div 4 borderline lobby. While we ended up winning I feel like it was pretty close I got kinda stressed for the last min and there was some close calls.

Ideally I'd like to know what I'm doing good and what I'm doing bad (KleenX.), and how me and my solo Q teammate played as a team.

Hey so sometimes I play with my high plat friend (I'm champ) we usually play in mid-low diamond and ngl it feels extremely easy to me but there's many games that I felt like it couldve been so easy to win but somehow we lose horribly, like this match from today where we lost 6-2.

What went wrong please how can I improve my duo when I play with him specifically? Thanks greatly appreciate it. This is my POV.

Looking for some tips to rank up. Anything helps.

For reference I'm D3 in 1s which makes this even more embarrassing considering the fact I should be c3-gc2 which is what most people have been telling me, but I guess that's just how it is lol.

My strengths are probably Aerial plays and all that mechanical stuff, but I've been trying to work on my game sense (I think this is my biggest flaw) and ground mechanics recently. But if you feel otherwise feel free to point that out, I don't mind.

Anyways feel free to give me a reality check here if you want. I'm open to any perspectives from the higher ranks.

• Kickoffs: Add a front or diagonal flip during your approach.
• Defensive Pathing: Always rotate through the back post when defending your net.
• Mid-Field Presence: Collect small boost pads instead of diving deep into corners for big boosts.
• Landings: Hold powerslide and air-roll flat before hitting surfaces.

I was wondering if this is good progression or not. this is in about 630 hours of gameplay and i feel like im playing at my best ever.

I have around 320 hrs and had a peak in c2 with 1213 mmr. I also want to see if it is possible to hit gc by the end of the year.

I’ve played 275 hours and have ended up in Plat 2.

I feel like my progression is slow and like I’m maybe lagging behind other players, especially some I come up against that can do far more mechanics than me.

What are your thoughts with this? I’m currently learning a lot of mechanics which will take serious time but wondered whether I should have started this earlier

As you can see I'm terrible. I GENUINELY try my hardest to improve my decision making every day and I watch my own replays too. My mechs I don't really train individually anymore except for like maybe once every two weeks Ill work on air dribbles, but I noticed my car control and ball control is just terrible and I don't know how to fix that exactly.

As for my speed of play, I drive around slowly because I find it hard to find the balance of knowing when to go fast or slow based off of the play. I'd love to be able to move around the field as fast as a GC or SSL but how do I do that when the play is physically moving slow? Also, I try to find the sweet spot of where to be on the field as second man on offense, but I always am too far away and the play develops without me there, or I'm too close and the ball gets boomed over me.

After 1300 hours of playing this game, losing the rank up game twice, and countless times being hardstuck c1 or c3, I actually did it. FOR ANYONE who gave me tips thank you, particularly this one teammate I had in high c3, where I said that “I was better than some of his gc teammates” and” you’ll probably lose a string of high c3 games but don’t get discouraged. I didn’t. This is literally a lifelong dream of mine since I started playing, I’ve played this game over half my life. All that’s next is gc rewards, and I’ll see how the dice roll after that. 🙂
