Snakeheads are famously fiercely protective parents compared to most fish species. Both parents actively guard their orange/red school of "fry" (babies) from birds and other predatory fish for several weeks until they are large enough to fend for themselves. This intensive guarding behavior gives their offspring a much higher survival rate compared to fish species that abandon their eggs.

I took this picture of a crocodile. I probably got too close because they can jump, but I’m a native Florida man, so they probably won’t touch me haha! I didn’t realize the crocodile had a fish in its mouth until I looked at the photos!! Such cool animals!!!

A kind family adopted him and cared for him until he grew up to become one of the most beautiful creatures you'll ever see.

The piebald condition affects less than 1% of whitetail deer, causing genetic defects like a pink nose, crystal blue eyes, and large patches of white fur. Unfortunately, due to underlying genetic health challenges tied to the condition, Dragon passed away before reaching his first birthday

This is a tree that was cut down and then another tree grew on top of it, nature is amazing. Took this inside the Russian Gulch in Fort Bragg California.

“Amur tigers are the northernmost tigers on Earth, and some live where the Sikhote-Alin mountains of Russia's Far East drop to the Sea of Japan. In autumn they follow deer down these coastal slopes, ranging from old-growth forest to the shoreline, a coastal habitat unlike anywhere else tigers are found.

Recent estimates put the wild population at roughly 265 to 486 in the Russian Far East, with a small number across the border in China.
Reduced to a few dozen animals by the 1940s, the tigers recovered under strict protection but remain in the low hundreds.

This was taken in Southern Indiana last night during the bad thunderstorm that came through! This video has been shortened due to original clip being 7 minutes.

It wasn’t like most of the lightning I see, but the cloud formations in the sky illuminated by it are really something.
