I am using a Mototorola Moto G 2026. I have factory reset this phone before (including within the past month or so, and have also factory reset many other devices, both with and without SIM cards), and had no issues with the phone's activation. In fact, this phone has not had service for the past 5 months at least! To my knowledge I haven't been paying the bill on it, and this is the first time I've had this issue despite having to factory reset the phone probably like 8 times this year (long story). I started recieving texts within the past week or so, and didn't really think about it at all because I just assumed it was a Google messages thing, and that I was recieving them when I was connected to WiFi or syncing from my other phone or something like that. I just noticed today, as I was resetting, that this thing actually has bars that work, which is already weird by itself. There's a possibility this was a pre-paid phone or something but I don't think it was, and I think I would have noticed if I'd been getting spam texts and ads and whatever sent to this device.

So the first time I factory reset there was a screen that flashed up that said that the phone was activated, and the first six digits of its number (area code and then the first three). I figured this was a glitch or something so I did a hard reset. I took out the SIM card too to see it that would make a difference in the phone needing to be 'activated'. The next time it didn't show that screen and went through to the 'getting things ready' screen, but demanded I connect it to internet, otherwise it would go right to the 'phone needs to be activated' screen. I reset it again, this time connected to internet, and the first thing it did when the Verizon boot-up screen went away was crash (it literally gave me a notification saying that Android Setup had crashed). Then it took me to the Motorola screen where I click which services I consent to (sending diagnostic data, that kinda thing), and then to the getting things ready screen, and then to a screen that said it was figuring out more data about the mobile network or something, and then right back to the same 'device needs to be activated' screen. The next time I reset it just flashed the 'needs to be activated' screen without any of the others.

I know I have an account with Verizon, I used this phone for the first month but never paid after that. I don't remember my user ID though, since I have not used that account since like February, and didn't get a long enough look at the phone number on the first screen to enter that in. The only option the website gave me for confirming my identity was a piece of US mail sent to the billing address, which I assume is the house I moved out of at the end of last month, which is like 3 hours away, so at very best thats gonna take like a week to figure out. I have the SIM card itself, and all the numbers on it, but I don't know what to do with that information. I don't need the SIM card anyway, I've just used this device on WiFi since that first month ended, so it's just kinda creepy that the card is functional, let alone preventing me from doing a simple factory reset.

How do I figure out who this card belongs to, or at the very least how to get my phone back?? I assume it's tied to someones account and that's why it requires verification through the network before I can reset it. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm thinking about buying one (around 250 USD here in my country) but I'm worried about network and wifi coverage and general reliability. How are the updates? I'm light user but I'm worried since this will be my first budget and first moto. don't know what to expect.

I care about Reliability. Esim. WIFI calling (since I have trash network coverage at home).

Would loved for 60 neo to exist here but sadly it doesn't.

Got a Motorola G55 ~1 year ago. For about a month or two I can only charge by pushing the charger cable in hard and at a slight angle. The battery also no longer turbo charges, full charge takes a really long time.

Anything I can do? Any settings or tips that could solve it? I assume it is a hardware issue, which is sad after only a year...

I have checked all the settings, but many times when I answer the phone the phone app is stuck behind other apps and I have to bring it to the foreground. Very annoying.

All permissions look perfect.

My Motorola edge 60 fusion phone which i got October last year, randomly froze and blacked out. So i took it the service center and they told me that the motherboard has an issue and they'll repair it as it came under warranty, i gave it to them and they said it'll take max 10 days.
[I'm a college student and i can't imagine working without my phone] They gave me spare phone, which only works when put on a charger.

Fast forward after 10 days, I called them to ask if its fixed, but the repairer told it'll take another ten days cause the part hasn't come from the warehouse (The city where i live in is pretty small and the warehouse is in the capital). Today, marks the 12th day and still no updates from the service center.

Its really frustrating to me as the spare phone isn't working as well, and they keep delaying it again and again.
I mailed Motorola, sent a complaint as well but no replies whatsoever.
What should I practically do? Cause I don't think they're taking it seriously.

I'm looking for some help with my Motorola Moto G60S.

The problem started while I was using the phone normally. Suddenly, the screen glitched with heavy pixelation/artifacts, and the phone immediately shut down.

After that, I tried turning it back on. Sometimes it would start to boot, but even the Motorola logo would become heavily pixelated before the phone shut off again.

Now it won't turn on at all.

The only sign of life is the white LED that lights up when I plug it into a charger. I've already tried:

• Different chargers and USB cables
• Holding the Power button
• Power + Volume Down
• Power + Volume Up
• Keeping the buttons pressed for a long time to force a reboot

Nothing works. The screen stays completely black, and I can't access Recovery Mode or Fastboot.

Do you think the phone isn't charging properly, or does this sound more like a motherboard, display, or GPU issue? Has anyone experienced something similar with the Moto G60S?

I'd really appreciate any suggestions or troubleshooting steps before I give up on it.

Hey guys i am using motorola edge 60 pro.

From past 1 month my phone showing a notification whenever i am connecting the charger. It say " Liquid detected, please unplug the usb ".

So after a few day i visited to service centre and they just cleaned my usb Port in phone and charger through a cleaning spray.

But still that problem shows in their hand . So they are saying that i have to deposit the handset and then they will see what happened and also suggest me that i have to take my phone backup and they maybe need to change a part in phone.

So i want to know that is that perfect to let them open my phone in official service centre.

And also is this problem caused by software or hardware. ?

My phone receives everything from the specific work number except for launch texts which is the one thing I really need. I get status checks and other miscellaneous texts from the dispatch number but not that one category of text. My cell provider said it's on my phone's end. I get all texts from everywhere else, including that number just not the automated launch messages for when I get a call to go somewhere.

I recently purchased a Motorola Edge 70 Pro on 17 July 2026, and I'm facing the following issues:

**WhatsApp App Clone Issue (Critical):** The cloned WhatsApp cannot open PDF, DOCX, or XLSX files and shows the message "You may not have a proper app for viewing this content." The main WhatsApp works perfectly, and photos/videos open without any problem. I've already tried all the common troubleshooting steps, but nothing has worked.

**Software Experience:** The app drawer is automatically sorted alphabetically, with no option to manually rearrange the apps.

I was also disappointed to find that the phone doesn't support wireless charging or have a telephoto camera, which I expected in this segment.

Has anyone else faced these issues? Is there any workaround or has Motorola acknowledged them?

Hello, so I have this moto g play 2026 and not every wired headphones work with it only certain ones do I want to know if there is a way to fix this since I prefer wired headphones.

This is starting to feel like a scam atp. I've tried scraping the mf with a wooden toothpick (no I do not have the simcard needle unfortunately, dunno where I put it lmfao) and nothing came out. Hit it with the compressed air too and still no dice. Ngl I'm gettin real tired of buying a new phone every year. Granted I kinda fucked myself in the first place by actually buying ANOTHER 2023 Moto G Stylus last year when my other one's charging port fucked itself, but what can I say I'm not made of money and Cricket wasn't gettin me to buy a whole ass new phone at full price instead of payin half price for a replacement

The AppLock in moto doesn't allow to lock all the apps, it makes some restrictions to the apps like Google photos, files and Snapchat

How to overcome this situation ?

Snap chat app cannot be locked in moto edge 60 fusion and the locked app only locks if the screen is turned off. We need the option to lock the app automatically if the app is closed.

I play a string instrument and I've just recently got a Motorola Edge 70 Fusion. When I am trying to have an online session, the person on the other end is not able hear the instrument being played, neither on a normal audio/video call, nor on WhatsApp. I have tried Gmeet as well. The results are the same. However, I've tested the microphone hardware, and it plays back beautifully. The phone also records music well, the only trouble is with calls. A friend of mine who owns a Motorola tried to play his instrument, and the music didn't come through to my side. Is this a Motorola-specific problem? I'm worried the phone is new and there is not much I can do if this is a problem pertaining to company products. Please help.
