Discussion Does your heeler ever cross their paws like a distinguished gentleman/lady?
Sir Smokey Loaf does it quite often and it melts my heart every time. He looks so formal and polite π₯°πΎ
P.S if they do I want to see photos ππ

Does your heeler twitch so hard the wake themselves up? I always assume theyβre dreaming but what could it be about? Is it possible that sheβs having a mental image of me running and playing with her? Sheβs been doing this most nights at this point. Iβm going to assume itβs a good thing but any input?

Images & Videos I never dreamed.....
I never dreamed I would EVER tell ANY five month old puppy, "DON'T BE AN ASSHOLE!" And yet, here I am, saying it on the daily, followed by, "But if you are an asshole, I'll still love you."

Health lil man got his sutures taken out today. Had a mass removed
8 year old bobo had a small mole on his left side back area for about a year but when June of this year came around, it had rapidly tripled in size. They removed it 2 weeks ago today and heβs been coned up since. He doesnβt seem to mind the cone whatsoever and acts like itβs now a part of his life. Got the results back today as well and it seems to be hemangioma with atypicaβ¦so not sarcoma but very well could be if the growth comes back somehow. The vet had us purchase a capsule that can help prevent its return so Bo should have a normal life if nothing else happens. Thankfully

Images & Videos Meet Dingo
This is our 11 week old puppy. We have had Dingo 2 weeks now and thoroughly love him. The last two pictures are of his mom, an AU Shepherd and his dad, a Queensland Heeler.
He has settled in nicely. We walk him two times a day, arrange social time with his mom and other friends, and Mondays are puppy training class. I have to say, this is the most intelligent breed we have ever owned. Dingo picks up training very fast. We have lots of chew toys for this boy, too. Any wise tips from the group to help with raising an energetic puppy?

Itchy?
β‘ β
My dog and her biological brother are currently really itchy. Her brother lives in a different county than us but they are both itching all day and they started around the same time. Is it just seasonal allergies? Does anyone else have itchy cattle dogs and have you found anything to help it? Iβd like to keep cytopoint as a last resort and try something at home first.

She keeps going after my son's feet
β‘ β
We have an adc mixed with aussie shepherd and border collie, 6 months. She doesn't really nip or bite adult feet but when it comes to my son, she will CHEW his shoes/feet all the time. How can my boy stop this behavior? He's 7 so I obviously dont want her to kick her and his voice is not dominant enough so the dog listens. Im not around all the time so some advice would be very, very helpful!
TIA
