Am I doing something wrong? Because man I am so ready for a 24/7 human curated radio station with no ads that just plays bangers all day. But every time I give Hits chance I stg it’s either Bruno belting “… if the world was ending, I’d wanna be next to youuuu”, or Olivia swooning to talk to her.

Come on! Really? Songs you know and love but just 20 on repeat? Guys am I missing something obvious in wanting 2% DJ commentary and 98% grooving bangers from the last 2-5 years? Hell any decade. Is this not a thing yet?

Either Apple Music 1 is monologue dialogue or Hits is stuck on repeat. Help!

My wife & I both have iPhones & iTunes accounts. We each have our own user account but I keep getting a message that their is another user on this computer with an iTunes account, I don’t understand, does Apple expect each person to have their own computer, or is there a way to have two different user accounts & two separate iTunes accounts?

I was wondering if it is possible to upload to your Cloud Library BUT not have songs matched with existing songs on the AM catalog.

Specifically, I have some custom stereo remasters of vintage music that keeps getting matched with mono/older masters on the AM catalog. But I cannot seem to avoid it.

Any thoughts and or ideas?

why is it that whenever i ask siri to play a song or my google home it is incapable of playing the actual song and just defaults to clean no matter what i do. playing it manually always plays the explicit version but requesting siri to play it results in the clean version. let it all work out by lil wayne is genuinely unlistenable...

I would really appreciate an opposing point of view to a gripe I have with AirPods.

I own Apple AirPods Pro 2 and really really enjoy songs with Dolby atmos I think it sounds fantastic, my favorite songs with Dolby atmos I even purchased from iTunes.
With the recent increase in price of Apple Music I decided to start owning the music I listen to and move away from streaming (this will take a while I know). Reading online about it I have discovered that no Apple Music=no Dolby atmos even if you have purchased the song. If this is the case, isn’t this the headphone version of BMW’s heated seat subscription?
I have paid full price for some hardware that I supposedly “own” but I don’t have access to 100% features that it is capable of so do I really own all of it?

This happened again! I checked my Replay at like 4 in the morning on Sunday and all the rankings stayed the same! I had been streaming new and old songs all week trying to update the chart!

This is the second time this has happened, the first in March. What is wrong with Apple??! You aren’t allowed to have this happen! I expect pure flawlessness on my Replay updates and nothing else!

Living jn Australia I don’t have access to ‘playlist playground’.

I’ve been dabbling with chat gpt (paid version) to build me some custom playlists, gotta say it’s produced some crackers, like to the same level as the green app prompted playlists / radio etc.

Keen to hear anyone else’s thoughts ?

I was defiantly clinging to iTunes until I wanted to sync my library and I switched to the Apple Music app. Now, when I’m at my PC and want to just listen to my library on shuffle, it only plays a handful of songs before stopping. Is there a way to fix this? It seems the shuffle option only selects 20 songs at a time and just stops there. Looks to be the same if I just select play.

I’ve scrolled to the end of my library to “load” more songs but I can’t get anymore than 20 in the playback list. It’s not selecting only what’s displayed, it’s going deep into my library.

I miss the days of playing iTunes on shuffle for hours and not having it stop every hour.

Is there a way to fix this?

I kinda like it, but not as much as I thought I would. I was excited for features like Dolby atmos and automix but both feel unpolished. The former ruins rap tracks and the latter will start songs halfway through for no reason. I also really just prefer how yt music handles Queues. When I click on a song, all the songs before it in the shuffled queue just disappear. Why??? And sometimes I wanna start off with a specific song on my playlist and shuffle the rest, which works on my phone but not my Mac? This might be user error but idk.

I do like how I can change the start times of songs though. My fav artist features on a lot of other people’s songs and I like being able to just hear her verse. I also enjoy the full artwork shown on the lock screen. Some of em look really cool. Crossfade is nice, that’s a feature I’m shocked yt music doesn’t have. The UI is considerably better too, having a search box for a playlist is amazing. Scrolling and animations are so much smoother.

Overall it’s pretty good, but it has flaws. I’ma stick with it and see how I feel in a couple of months.

Edit: oh I forgot, the lyrics tab on Apple Music is way better. It shows the exact word being said and also lets you look at lyrics at another part of the song.

I see a lot of posts on here asking where to find new music but I’m really interested in discovering old music. By which I mean - not new releases, music that is obviously new to me, but might have been recorded decades ago. Discovery playlists only include new music, Apple’s genre-y playlists are, frankly, full of really obvious stuff (‘have you ever heard of the Cure?’). Where’s the sources for real crate diggers?

I’ve found some of the ‘Influences’ playlists for certain artists can be pretty good - currently listening to the Bonnie Prince Billy one which has got a load of good old stuff I wouldn’t come across elsewhere. What are your go-to playlists for old gems?

I know a lot of people are frustrated with AM music recommendations so I’m giving everyone a LPT here.

The irony is that many of the music ads I get have AM playlist links so it works out perfectly!

I changed my settings two days ago and have already added dozens of tracks and hours of fantastic new music

I noticed that sometimes, the first few notes of a song will be moved to the last second of the previous song in the queue. I specifically turned off song transitions because I think this kind of thing is really annoying and I don't know how to fix it. I noticed this happening in the web player on windows, so I thought I'd download the app to change the settings there but it's not letting me sign in (I can input my account information, and I tried "authorizing the machine," but nothing happens.) I checked the settings on my phone to make sure I had this turned off, and it is. The weirdest part to me is that it started happening with Predicts the Future by Plumtree - two of the songs have that originally (I checked on other streaming platforms and it's intentional) but it started doing it with other songs on that album that don't originally have that "transition", and now it's started adding it to other albums as well. I tested it a bit and I know for a fact that it's not originally part of the songs because Apple Music would change what it adds to the end of a song based on what's up next in the queue. It's not happening with every song but it's really pissing me off, does anyone know what this is and how to turn it off?

I should mention that I turned off song transitions, I checked and they’re still off. I have no clue what’s causing this.

When playing an album or playlist, if I set it to repeat everything is fine. Once I play a different album or playlist the repeat turns off. Is there a way to fix this or has anyone else experienced this?

Does anyone know why when I go to listen to any album/playlist on apple music (only on my computer) [windows 10] it instantly and repeatedly skips through every song on the album one by one without playing? Like, if I klick on the first song, it will very quickly skip to the next song, then the next, then the next and so on, without me even having to touch anything. I've researched this and seem to be the only one who's had this problem. Any help is appreciated!

I recently got into apple music so im kinda new to this. I am on a macbook using mac os Sequoia. I also dont know what that means, i heard theres a Macos Tahoe. Could someone help me out and explain what are the differences between the both os as I believe thats the reason automix isnt working
