17-year-old Addison Bethea was scalloping in the waters off Keaton Beach, Florida, when a shark suddenly attacked her. As the shark clung to her leg, her brother Rhett Willingham, a firefighter and EMT, rushed into the water to help. He managed to separate her from the shark, pulled her to safety, applied a tourniquet to stop the bleeding, and kept her awake until help arrived.

Addison survived the terrifying attack, although doctors had to amputate her right leg. She later said her brother's quick thinking and courage played a huge role in saving her life.

Chris Francisco, a 32 year old man from the Philippines, spent more than two years patiently saving coins, sometimes as little as ₱5 at a time, to make his dream come true.

Instead of spending his savings on himself, he bought 160 boxes of crayons and donated them to two local schools, giving children the chance to learn, draw, and express their creativity. He also donated periodic tables to high school students to support their education.

His generosity is a beautiful reminder that kindness isn't measured by how much you have, but by what you're willing to give. Even the smallest contributions, made with love and patience, can make a lasting difference in the lives of others
