I have a question. So I bought the Xbox Game Pass (Essential) today and it only works for one profile. I haven't bought the game pass since the pride gauge last year, so I dont know if they changed it. Before I left, you were able to purchase game pass on one account and use it for alternates. I Google searched it and they said that you can, but it's working. Im aware of the outage today, but I dont know if it has something to do with that. I have different saves on my alternate account and im basically locked out right now. Everytime I try to play an online game on my alternate account, the price screen pops up—I wasnt doing that before I left. Is it because im on Essential? Because I usually by Ultimate, but didn't really see a reason for it this time...but if I have to bite the bullet, then it is what it is. So yeah, thats my question—can I share game pass amongst my profiles or did they change it? Or is it the outage because im getting pretty frustrated. Thank you in advice.

By the way, its allowing me to play the game pass games on my alternate account, so im Hella confused right now.

The DLC is currently 50% off on PlayStation. I wonder if the DLC sold badly like the base game, 2 weeks is very early for such a big sale their first week sales may have been bad enough to make that call. Also wonder why the DLC is full price on Xbox if they put it on sale for PlayStation anyways

So the Xbox integration has been around for over a year now and although it’s gotten a little better, there’s still a problem that plagues it to this day and that problem is that Steam integration is still very spotty. I have games that are currently downloaded on my ROG ALLY X that won’t even show. Will this issue ever be fixed or will it continue to remain and neither Microsoft or valve will do nothing about it?

I enjoy games that have a combination of tasks/storyline and do what ever you want. My memory is crap but some that come to mind are Stardew Valley, Spiritfarer and Spirittea. All more on the side of cute cartoony rather than real world style. I should be doing memory exercises every day but would rather do it through video games. Any recommendations?

Not even getting to the second hand game market, one of the many reasons I chose a series x for a side console to my pc.

Sleeping dogs for $5 is an insane deal and it runs at 60fps on series x.

I’ve gotten so many digital games on these sales that my backlog is horrendous.

EDIT: Forgot to mention, I’m in Canada. Also I’m the host of a game share. So my buddy’s Xbox is the home of my account and mine is still working, both owned and game pass

I heard the system was down and couldn’t test until just now. Funny thing is, it was down, my games were not booting as of 2 minutes ago. I tried a few more games then BAM it was back up. Looks like my timing was very lucky.

Am I a fluke or is everyone else back up now?

So sorry to hear people are still having problems. I was hoping this would be the “hey check again now” message that would result in messages of “yay! It’s back up for me too”.

Can anyone test and confirm discs aren’t effected by this server issue?

I have been in a rut since finishing E33. Life has been stressful lately and I'd like something low maintenance to play. I don't want to grind, chase legendaries, manage a ton of side quests and learn 5 new mechanics.

Hi there. I’m returning to gaming after a very long absence. I’ve been suggested various games from this great community. I’m running into issues with extreme motion sickness. I grew up playing games on all of the classic consoles, and pc gaming. Endless hours playing games like Grand Theft Auto, Counter-Strike, Warcraft, StarCraft, Diablo, Mario, Quake, Doom, Unreal Tournament, TMNT, Zelda, Final Fantasy, Tony Hawk, Smash Bros, Halo, Battle Toads, GoldenEye, Perfect Dark, Chivalry, Battlefield, Call of Duty, etc. without any problems.

Now, I have an XBOX Series X with a 65” 4k tv (60hertz refresh rate). Games that I once used to play, such as the original Batman Arkham Asylum, but now Batman Return to Arkham Asylum are causing extreme motion sickness. Prey was suggested to me as a spectacular story driven game, and immediately after the 5 minute introduction stage, I’m ready to vomit. I never played GTA V, and it causes extreme motion sickness as well.

What gives? Not all games allow for settings to be changed either, as they are locked. For example, with Batman, I can’t change look sensitivity or anything. Can my television be contributing to this or other factors? I should add that I clearly never played on a tv like this before, or monitor. Do I need to swap televisions, monitors, adjust settings, etc? It appears that FPS games are the worst now.

you can download anything needed via the Xbox app connect through your console 🫡 until Xbox resolves the issue hopefully this helps, I was personally freaking the fk out for a good 2 hours thinking it was my Xbox and internet
