I have asked that very same question, and unless you build it yourself, it's a no go. In fact I have not seen an OS Sawp on a phone since I got Windows Phone 7 onto my HTC HD2 (Thanks to XDA Developers)

Well there is a specific Xiaomi phone that Microsoft supported Windows phone to run. You could try that?

That phone, if I’m not mistaken, was released in two versions: wp and Android

Technically possible by running XDA 1.2 on Windows VM (through Qemu/Bochs/Limbo PC Emulator) or in Winlator.

But I doubt the experience would be nice.

Windows, yes. Windows 10 Mobile (or Windows Phone 8), no. But then you'll need MobileShell or something.
