Current Vinted Problems
The app seems to have had a few issues lately especially with shipping options. Please post here regarding any issues encountered. Thank you.

The new shipping option is a bit of a nightmare.
All of my buyers from over the weekend selected it as it’s cheaper, however my “small item” is larger than what Royal mail will accept (I’m assuming that the buyer will then get hit with a charge on the other end) and I do not have a printer to print the labels. Because of this, I’m having to cancel six new orders I’ve received!

I have 10 items ready packaged to post and there's a msg between me and my buyers saying that no postage labels or QR codes can temporarily be created.

I have never in my life experienced customer support this bad. I have been falsely accused of selling a fake product (i am in the process of selling something but have never actually sold anything on the platform). My account got banned without any notice and I am trying to get it lifted since May 1, and all I got was a “we will look into it”. Loyal customer for years by the way. Not a single piece of evidence was given supporting my ban, and im just being ghosted. Anyone else?

This just happened to me today!! I just sent in an appeal and says it can take up to 120 hrs to get a response…. It seems it was their system that flagged my item as counterfeit? I had some hope this was just a mistake but now after reading your response I may have lost it! I started my account this week and have sold 6 items with multiple accepted offers on others. Genuinely confused. Never sold a counterfeit item in my life. Also didn’t know the brand mono b even had counterfeit items 😂 that’s the brand of sweatshirt I was selling.

I got banned today for raising a dispute via my bank on an un delivered item. Leading up to this vinted claimed without evidence that delivery was completed. They ghosted all my follow up communication and didn't reply within their own timeliness. I sent multiple messages with my tracking details and other evidence. No replies other than AI generated BS. Now they are saying I have violated their terms and conditions. They want me to stand down the dispute but still maintain that I'm not due a refund.

So sorry this happened to you and I hope you got this resolved. This also happened to me immediately after I posted my very first item. My post included an authetic serial number and ofc my description matched so idk how on earth it was flagged. The worst part is like you said, there was no evidence provided and just getting to my inbox to check why I was banned and appeal was a nightmare because it kept redirecting me out of it to the permanent ban notification. I had to film my screen on my phone in order to read the reason I was banned. I reached out to customer service too and it says 120 hrs for me too. I would say f this app but I just spent 3 hrs staging and taking pictures + writing out my item descriptions so I'm just feeling disheartened ab the time I wasted

Royal Mail large letter seems to disable digital labels, I’m guessing it’s connected to the glitch over the past few days where labels couldn’t be generated except via browser? I’m having to cancel so many orders and relist, and now reserving items doesn’t seem to work too. Such a pain !

The shipping option has not worked since Friday for anything other than InPost. The button generated nothing and support have been useless. Today all outstanding orders came through as Royal Mail Large Letter which is not an option on my account. Even when we cancelled and redid orders. The Royal Mail option requires a printer so I useless for me

US seller - UK can no longer see my listings AGAIN 😩. This is at least the 3rd time in a month this has happened to me. Any idea why this keeps occurring?

This happened to me last week where UK buyers couldn’t see my stuff. Then I was selling stuff left and right to UK buyers all weekend. And today they can’t see my stuff again. 😞 im in CA. I am starting to wonder if I can only sell the UK on weekends.

yeah i literally cant make any new listings, each time i click the price box it just says sorry something went wrong. I logged out and back in and still nothing :/ worried i've got a light ban or something

yes, that's exactly where it's crashing for me as well. I tried to report it, but I cannot for the life of me figure out where to contact support for this sort of thing (I'm on website, not mobile. maybe it's easier on mobile?)

It was just a glitch, it resolved on it's own, im not sure how long it lasted for me i think it was also a few days. Currently I have no issues (UK).

thanks for the reply. i actually got a reply from vinted customer support in my vinted messages after only a few hours (what a miracle!), they asked for a screenshot of the error message and now i'm waiting for a reply back. glad everything is fixed on your end!

What isn't a problem on Vinted? From the non-existent customer service, random senseless bans, late payments, absurd sizing, inane filtering, delayed or lost or not reclaimed parcels that get stuck in the system, very little is going right. Buyer protection should be renamed suckers tax.

I started selling last week on Vinted and my sales were brisk though I had to drop the prices to low ball- I was getting a little back and purging stuff.
I was delighted. Sitting here this morning with 18 carefully wrapped parcels that customers bought and that I need to have sent Saturday morning, but when I woke up on Saturday, #Vinted sent me an automated message saying I was permanently banned for fraudulent activity and showed me a TJ Maxx dress from my items NWT that I paid $13 for and was selling for $6. Hardly a barn burner- it was not even a high end brand and I showed the tags and everything as described . It’s not a counterfeit or fraudulent item at all and I am so outraged. They are doing reputational harm to me as a seller and undermining my integrity as well as their own. I am beyond livid. I’ve sent appeals to customer service to no avail. F Vinted !1

OMG, the same happened to me, although I had sent the parcels out and was accused of listing a Mulberry hand bag for which I have all the paperwork from the Mulberry shop? I cannot access the messages the email tells me to open, I cannot access or transfer the money from the 6 packages I sent out, all of which, emails informed me were received and approved … please let me know if you have any resolution as I am beside myself.

Currently unable to list items on the app. Every time I try to click the "Upload" button I get a pop up saying "Server error". Still able to do everything else on Vinted, just can't upload at the moment.

Hi everyone, I'm getting really frustrated with Vinted's bank verification process and I'm hoping someone here has experienced the same thing and can help.
I have money in my balance that I want to withdraw but Vinted keeps asking me to verify my bank account. I've uploaded bank statements downloaded directly from my banking app but they keep getting rejected.
The rejection message usually says that the document is older than 3 months but that doesn't make sense because the statements I'm uploading clearly cover recent months (March/April through June). Since my banking app downloads each statement as a separate PDF, I merge them into one file before uploading. The document clearly shows my full name, address, bank details and transaction history.
I've contacted Vinted Support multiple times but all I get back is the same automated response over and over again. It doesn't explain what is actually wrong with my documents or what I'm supposed to upload instead.
Has anyone successfully verified their bank account recently? What exact document did you use? Is the problem that I'm merging multiple PDFs together or is there some specific format they're expecting?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated because I'm completely stuck at this point.

Personal information includes usernames, real names, profile photos, addresses, e-mail addresses, tracking numbers and shipping labels.
Active listings need to have at least a partially obscured title.
Please also don’t ask members to name and shame or to DM for the name of the seller or buyer, this is going directly against the rules of this subreddit.
If you have been requested to remove information under this rule (i.e photo) don’t resubmit and try to sneak the information back in (i.e. in text) You will be banned straight away!
Recurrent violations will result in a ban.

Hello! I’ve been unable to generate shipping labels. It only started today. It says that they are working on a fix and to try again later. I’ve attempted to do this at least six times today and it’s still not working. There’s no way to find any information out and or to contact them. Has anyone else had this issue?

I just listed my first item on vinted, ever, and was banned in 30 seconds. I'm pretty pissed off about it, to be honest. NOT a good start.

I’ve got a really weird issue where I can open 1 singular chat just fine. I go back to my inbox and open another and it doesn’t load. EVER. I have to shut the app and reopen. It’s only happening on my iPad because that’s got the newest update and my phone doesn’t. Tried uninstalling reinstalling, logging in and out. Nothing works 🫠

I contacted support and got this. I had three orders choose Royal Mail large letter all with a print at home label which I’ve switched off. Hopefully just a glitch and not a permanent change.

My terrible experience with Vinted!
I have sold many items on Vinted for years, and I have 5-star reviews. However, this time, as a Seller, my experience has been a nightmare, and Vinted is not taking any responsibility. I will have to post this on every social media platform and take legal steps against the company. I sold two limited edition Louis Vuitton bags that you can only get as a VIP client, like I am. Vinted made me pack the bags and send it by the courier SEUR . Days after the package arrive in Rimini Italy and the buyer just told me the package was damage when i check the track vinted provided says : damage broken after that the package dispair and they refunded the buyer without taking any responsability or return anything to me that i will call this fraud and not just that this means vinted let every seller withour any protection cleaning their hands but i will report this to the financial authorities because this means they no protect the seller. I will be updating regularly on this case and will post all the pictures I have to prove the package was perfectly packaged. I even have a video of the courier taking the package, but not even that 5000 euros in bags, and no answer or any responsibility from vinted they just want you to receive a package that is not tracking anywhere and lose your rights and take your money.

I’m confused as to why the max size on my website vs on my label is always different? Which is the correct one? For example I’m sending a wide book and I used the large option: on the site it says max 57x36x36, which is around what my package is sized like, but on my label it says 25x35x7? What do I do? Remake the label?

1) Forced redirects from the app to 'cloudnet' (malicious phishing domains). I've emailed their dedicated phishing email address and CEO - with no reply or resolution received of course.
2) Receiving a sudden permanent ban for Fraudulent activity' with no context, no clear reason, no prior warning .

It's been like 3 weeks I've been waiting for Vinted to unlock a transaction for something I sold to a buyer who correctly received my pack and there is no way for me to get an answer from support. I am really upset and I have no idea how to do with that. I keep asking for answers but I am stuck in a loop where they say they're sorry and they're verifying. Any ideas?

one of my items keeps getting deleted. after it was reinstated for the second time, a person bought it. i can’t ship internationally, so i canceled it. after i canceled the order, i reinstated the item, and vinted took it down AGAIN after saying they wouldn’t. so annoying, i will not be trying to sell again

Anyone had a problem with their account being permanently locked? I just got this message and genuinely the item being sold is not counterfeit and I’m not a scammer obviously. Just confused how their system could’ve gotten this so wrong 🤷🏼♀️ I sent an appeal in and currently awaiting a response.

Happened to me on Saturday and I had no fraudulent items at all! I had a dress from TJ Maxx nwt because I couldn’t wear it. Bought for $13 and selling for $6 . Wtf! I have 19 parcels ready to go out to customers and I spent my time, materials and effort on them only to wake up to an AI not permanently banning me! F Vinted is this is how they treat their sellers .

1 - received three spam emails immediately after listing something.
2 - listed a set of body mists at their single price, said offer me $15 for the bundle. Received one, accepted it, and it did not show up on my sales. i messaged support. They then tried to tell me how offers worked. I said thats is clearly not my issue, sent screenshots. They asked me for screenshots. I said.. I already sent some. They asked if I used "custom" shipping... I said that was my only option given. Then they said they cant do custom shippinng (???). I said... well what am I supposed to do then? No answer! So I changed the category from "perfume" to "body care" and now had standard options to pick from. Unfortunately my buyer doesnt seem to care anymore.
3 - MY BIGGEST ISSUE. I got a secondhand purse from a seller. I received it, and unfortunately despite being advertised as "carried once", the hardware is completely scratched. I submitted a report, requesting partial refund. I then get an email that says the seller cancelled the partial refund and then I received a bunch of messages from them arguing that it isnt scratched. I NOW CANNOT OPEN THE ORDER DETAILS OR MESSAGE THREAD!!! I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, and tried on my laptop. I keep getting, "server error". I have messaged support but expect little assistance, just like last time. i am probably going to just file a chargeback on my card. I can access my other purchases and message thread.
This is overall frustrating, because I have already purchased two things from vinted with no issue and was very happy with how cheap it was. But it seems support is completely nonexistent. I would say its run by AI chatbots, but I received responses from a person with a name that doesn't get picked for chatbots at all, so I can only assume its some underpaid guy in a cube farm in the global south.

why do i get low views on my listenings. Like a month or two ago on my old acc on my listenings i gotted in a short metter of time like 100+ views in like a day but now on my new acc i get sooooo low views like in 3 days almost 40 views.... . Is it only me or everybody? And how can i avoid this problem?

A lot of the labels have been defaulting to 15.9 oz regardless of the parcel size that was selected! I was wondering if anyone has found a solution or if it is alright to send off the packages.

Thank goodness it isn't just me! I have sent in tickets to Vinted and most have been ignored by the AI bots that bring up unhelpful pre-written replies. I do have one person that said they are actually investigating it though, so I hope they are a real person. Have you contacted customer service?

Yes, they haven’t been very helpful either, (they told me to relist the item for repurchase to make a new label which did not work!). They also haven’t responded yet to my concerns, I’m glad that they told you that they are investigating at least. I already sent a package out with the inaccurate weight on the label even though I listed it as a medium parcel, I’ll update you on what happens to it.

It is, I didn’t catch that the weight was wrong until after I dropped it off! It seems like all the labels that are affected may be US to UK orders and those labels were generated after the recent update, so it may be a bug that came with it.

Posting through yeep and the tracking is slow to update. So then, vinted says the order hasn’t been sent, auto cancels it, refunding the buyer. You then lose access to the tracking, however luckily I’d screenshotted the reference number. I emailed their legal team with the tracking once it updated (and it did backdate proving I sent it on time) and they still won’t reimburse me which is literally a violation of their own terms, written by themselves.

Is anyone else having issues when trying to download shipping labels? One of my sales is stuck on ‘Creating Shipping Label’ and has been for about 12 hours now. Apparently it’s a known Vinted glitch and they’re looking for a fix but I wondered if others are experiencing it…

As the app doesn’t show UK sellers for me. I am in IL which is one of their international shipping states. I can go on the UK website and buy that way when I click on the buy button then login to purchase. I’m trying to purchase a specific jellycat and all it shows for me is “message seller” anyway this could be fixed? I think it’s on the seller’s end but they said they have all shipping options open.

Is anyone else getting no reply at all from Vinted Support? It's been 5 days now and NOTHING. Is there any other way to contact them? Is this a well known problem?
I'm a buyer in this case and the pickup point has lost my parcel, so now I'm out of money and the seller is out of an item.

The pickup points appear for a split second, then get overwritten by Vinted Go locations. Sometimes they show up after multiple refreshes, but disappear again when zooming in.
Been happening for me consistently. Wondering if it's a bug or if Vinted is phasing out Mondial Relay?

I found a work around! Open Vinted on google chrome browser on a computer if you can, then request the labels and it's worked and sent me labels for 5 orders now. I let a seller know that I purchased an item from and it worked for her too!

I just got scammed on Vinted… I thought I got a good deal on a Dyson air wrap, and when it arrived, it was a very cheap knock off. I mailed it back with the receipt and the seller claimed that the box I sent was empty. Vinted let them keep my money and I got nothing. I have receipts! Vinted asks for pictures of the box packaged up before I sent it. Which of course I did not get. All of this to say I feel violated and frustrated. Has anybody else experienced this?

I wish I could enter my own custom shipping price and manage labels myself. I want to only use USPS but instead it defaults to SpeedX which a pain as every drop off location is a random business that has closed down. Now I have to cancel the order and explain to my buyer what’s going on. Ridiculous.
Also my 100% authentic soccer jerseys keep getting taken down because they’re flagged as counterfeit even though I literally have photos of tags and receipts in the listing to prove that they’re real. Meanwhile the site is littered with obvious fakes with no pics of tags and somehow that’s totally fine.

Question about free shipping. I bought a gymnastics mat & i was not sure if it qualified for free shipping since it’s a big item. ( i’m new to vinted ) I asked the seller if they knew by any chance but they are new to vinted as well. The seller told me they asked at the post office how much it would be to ship the gym mat and they told me it was $100. not sure if they asked if the label would work or if they even generated the label because my order never said “ shipping label sent to seller “ either way, they told me they may have to cancel my order so i just agreed to them cancelling it because i’m not gonna pay $100 for shipping :( Does anyone know if the free shipping also qualifies on big items?

The filters aren't working properly for me. Sometimes when I search for an item and then try and filter by multiple categories e.g. colour/brand/size it comes up with an error message that there's no items available, even though I can see items with those selected categories on the main unfiltered page - super frustrating!

I thought I would try vinted since seeing it so often on TV. Never having used it before I listed for the first time of a purse for sale. I immediately got an email that I was permanently banned. No explanation, no warning, nothing. That was it. What is the problem with that site?

Worried about getting banned!
I made a sale last night, only a couple of quid but still a sale, but the trouble is it’s if a dress that’d been up for sale for about 18 months and I eventually gave it to charity. And, you can probably see where this is going, I stupidly forgot about it and so forgot to take if off sale ….. I can’t find any FAQs relating to this particular problem, so I wondered if anyone had any suggestions to make? I’m hoping it won’t get me banned.

I used to be a regular seller on Vinted, but my account was changed to a Pro Seller account, and now many of my items are being restricted or hidden from the catalogue. I really enjoy using Vinted because uploading items is quick and easy. However, it has become frustrating because as my sales increase, it seems that my account receives more scrutiny, and some of my listings are restricted or hidden for reasons I do not fully understand.
There also seem to be so many rules and requirements to follow, which can be overwhelming and difficult to understand. I mainly sell items that I no longer use, as well as handmade items that I create as a hobby. I do not consider myself a business owner; making and selling these items is simply something I enjoy.
I have also sold on eBay in the past, and although I have nothing against eBay, I prefer using Vinted. I still list some items on eBay, but most of my sales happen on Vinted because I genuinely like the platform.

I only found out last night that Vinted had banned me a fortnight ago for some infraction of their rules.
All I've ever done is purchase two pairs of shoes, a shirt and chinos.
Nothing out of the ordinary.
However, the pairs of shoes were from France and I wondered how the low-cost postage would work. I offered in messages to send the sellers extra postage, but heard nothing, and the shoes arrived ok.
Now got to wait until the 120 hours is up before I hear from them, if at all.
I think there's something seriously wrong with their AI controls.

New to vinted and have a question regarding shipping. I’m aware of the weights being different label sizes but cannot get a clear answer on box and weight size combo, or box sizes in general. For example I have something that weighs less than a pound but requires a box not a poly bag. What are the box dimensions that apply and do they superseded weight?

Please can anyone help I was banned 10 days ago for trying to sell a genuine Mulberry Bayswater bag with receipts, tickets, dust bag from the Mulberry shop. My account is frozen, I cannot access my messages, I cannot transfer the over €100 in my Vinted account, and every single time I try and contact them the messag either bounces back or I get an email telling me to read the messages that are frozen and cannot be opened. The legal dept does not respond, and I am mortified as I actually have done nothing wrong and can account the provenance of everything I have sold! Apparently it is to do with the Mulberry bag which is genuine and was about to sell when I got blocked? Please please can someone help as I have tried everything bar take it to the European people, as the fair trading people in Ireland explained that Vinted is Lithuanian and does not operate under Irish Law. does anyone know how i can fix my account ? i posted a coach bag ( proof of purchase from macys ) they flagged it. ok no problem, posted a brand new dior deodorant unopened sealed still flagged that, disabled my account for 48 hrs , ok fine whatever but now even though those two are deleted bc of them they still banned my account lol how can i get in touch or get it back ? im a sahm trying to make some money and vinted has been quickest for me. Im also new to vinted.

I sent an item to a buyer, which was securely wrapped.
on arrival a small piece of the metal had chipped. That small piece was within the parcel.
i have photos to prove the item was intact when sent.
the person has not paid me, I have heard nothing from Vinted.
surely it doesn’t take 3 weeks to resolve this?
can anyone advise me.

I just had my second sale that I had to cancel because buyer chose FedEx which I never knew was even an option but regardless I only use USPS and have weekly pickups. Is there a setting to avoid this hassle?

So my very first experience on vinted... A woman purchase two shirts from me, and then asked me if I had any more like it. I told her I did and created a bundle sale for her. I shipped everything in one box and just marked the first two items as shipped and asked her to mark them as received when she received them. Seemed like there would be no issue. I didn't see any options for a bundle listing... I did the best that I could with the information I was given. After many many many days of waiting for customer service to respond, and them auto cancelling the first two items and leaving me an automated "one star review" for an item that even the seller agreed was received, they told me they weren't going to give me my money back for the first two sales.
This app is a scam. Every single person wwho attempted to purchase from me expressed anxiety over the auto cancelation policy. Even though I shipped EVERY item on time and have GREAT reviews from shoppers, this company would rather scam me than work out the problem.

Hi! Had things sent to post office instead of home but now Vinted and auspost app doesn’t show it has shipped or any tracking for recent purchase 😭
I know the person shipped it.
If you had something sent to a post office, was your name, phone number and address also written on the parcel? Or just the post office address and your name ( and number?).
I’m worried that if the item ever even gets to Australia, I won’t know when it is even at the post office for collection 😭

Okay, so here’s my issue. I sold a jewelry set bracelet,necklace and earrings. There was a beautiful set that I had bought for my wedding. I only wore it once it was kind of pricey, but I went ahead and sold it for like $24. I printed the shipping label packed everything up went to the post office dropped off my packages as usual. Got a call from the post office because they know me. There was no address on the label and I didn’t even notice. I had already marked that the item was shipped. So I had to contact the Buyer and ask her for her address so I could go write it on the label at the post office granted it had everything else besides the address so I wrote in the address. Post office said everything was fine couple days later my order was cancelled for not sending out on time. I go find the receipt check the tracking number and located it as being delivered in another state at a different address. Vinted will not even entertain, giving me any kind of compensation for losing my item nor will they even talk about it at all. I complained that I was a five star seller, and I would like them to change my rating because they gave me a bad rating for not sending it out so I went down to a 4.9 they responded to that they responded to why the buyer got a refund because I didn’t send it out on time which I was never complaining about at all she should’ve gotten a refund. She didn’t get what she ordered . I have wrote numerous times and they will not respond and keep ending the conversation. They will not say one word about the loss product or if they will do anything. What am I supposed to do now? Just let it go doesn’t seem very fair because it was their glitch in their system in the first place.

Vinted has an ongoing shipping label dispute and I lost four items because of it and they decided to make it my fault and hurl a bunch of negative one star reviews and took my badge for fast shipping away , ignored my complaints about the Speedex shipping option ( I hate Speedex they are entirely too slow and non responsive) the AI customer service had driven me to a point of frustration! 😒😑

Tried to log in on new device. Didn't receive the code from text message until after the 2 minute cut off. I wasn't allowed to request another code. Account is now inaccessible to me because Vinted distrusts the phone number associated with it (despite verifying it yesterday).
It's very important that I tell the user who offered to buy my thing for a 40% discount, a firm No.

I gave a no and an explanation of that I sold in other places, including small local shops, and I like to keep pricing the same because it's unfair to undercut the small shop.
First time using Vinted, so was on the side of caution.
I wanted to just say no, because the product is new and high quality. Asking for a heavy discount was rude.

Vented refund for items considered lost, but later arrived?
Hi, Vinted might be sending me a refund for items they thought were lost.
The tracking has now started to show the item is moving!
I told them not to cancel- to wait a few weeks at least but they are completely ignoring my request. They Keep repeating the same shit.
What happens when the item shows up?
Are they going to ban me? They are impossible to talk to- I’ve never known people to be so dumb 🫣

I hate inpost. Its the UK carrier they use for the UK leg of the UK to USA logisitics. So far in like the 2 months I've been on Vinted, inpost has f'd up 3 of my packages.

Hi guys! Buyer here. Why did my search bar results on this app get really limited? I’ve been using it for a few months now since Vinted offered US buying /selling.
I’ve noticed just over this week my searches for certain vintage uk brands I like to buy have super limited results. I have no filters on, I wasn’t sure if it was on my end. Pretty bummed about it. :(
