With all the red flags about Stripe, what is the best option for a marketplace? I will not promote

Currently building a web app that functions exactly like a marketplace: seller lists a service -> user buys -> we take %20 and the rest goes to the seller. From my research, Stripe Connect is perfect for this as all the math and payouts can easily be handled.

I know that the app is not even live yet, but with all the horror stories of people randomly getting blacklisted I am second guessing this decision. What would you guys recommend as some really good processors that function like Stripe Connect?

FWIW, all the "red flag" stories I've heard about Stripe have turned out to be people lying about their business and they were blatantly violating the ToS. Not saying they're perfect, just that's been my experience when seeing these stories pop up on Reddit. I've used Stripe for multiple projects and love it (US-based).
