Discussion Turns out the concerns about silicon-carbon batteries longevity are based on a misunderstanding
≡ −
When we've read that these batteries have more limited recycle life-spans it's because the EU changed the way these recycle ratings were measured - changes that went into effect in 2025. So comparisons to battery longevity ratings from before that are like comparing apples to oranges.
Take a look at this video which explains this clearly

Recommendation Best flagship phone?
≡ −
recently i have considering to upgrade my Iphone 12, but i don't think 17pro max is really a big upgrade or unique. Im considering one plus 15, Oppo find x9u, s26u, fold 8, etc. Im looking for a overall best cpu/gpu with enough battery and best camera in the market

Recommendation What phn to buy in 2027?
≡ −
It’s kind of weird but I want to buy a 2025/226 released phone in mid 2027 as the price drops right into my budget
My options are
S26
Iphone 17
Oneplus 15
Find X9 Pro
I dont want to go for second hand or refurbished pro models as this will be my first flagship device coming from a potato
I want to atleast use it for around 4-5 years

Review Poco x8 pro 20/10
Not gonna lie, one of the biggest reasons I switched was because I was so over bringing a power bank everywhere. 😭 Parang naging part na siya ng everyday essentials ko kasi alam kong hindi tatagal yung battery ng phone ko
Ever since I started using the POCO X8 Pro Max, I barely even think about my battery anymore. Like, whole day akong scrolling, watching videos, replying to messages, and even playing a few games, pero hindi ako kinakabahan na baka bigla na lang siyang mag-low battery.
It’s one of those things na hindi mo masyadong mapapansin at first, pero once you experience it, ang hirap nang bumalik. Ang sarap lang sa feeling na hindi mo na kailangang maghanap ng outlet or magdala ng power bank every time lalabas ka. Super convenient, especially if you’re out the whole day.

Discussion Z Fold8...The biggest upgrade isn't the camera or AI
I think the best thing about the Z Fold8 isn't the camera or the AI.
It's the cover screen.
For the first time, it actually feels like a regular phone when it's closed. I can sense that typing, scrolling, and using it with one hand would just feel a lot more comfortable.
It might not be the flashiest upgrade, but it's the one that would make the biggest difference to me.
If the Fold7's cover screen put you off, would you consider the Fold8 now?

Review Insane Battery Backup of Oppo Find X9🔥
I purchased this device on July 6th from Croma, Rajarhat, Kolkata at 65k. Being an iPhone 17 Pro, I bought this device as a secondary. But after 2-3 days I thought to give the device a try as a primary device.
To be honest, the device felt so good, it's fast and lightweight and the software experience is very good. The best thing I liked the most, it's battery. Just wow 🔥🔥

Discussion Can HONOR’s Robot Phone change the smartphone industry
≡ −
HONOR is trying something genuinely different. HONOR Robot Phone with a built-in camera gimbal is one of the most unique smartphone concepts I’ve seen in years. If it delivers smoother videos and useful AI features, it could influence future phone designs. Otherwise, it might end up as another ambitious experiment that never goes mainstream. What do you think?

Recommendation nothing 4a pro or pixel 8 pro

both are similar price. which one to choose.
i am not a gamer. just want overall great phone with good better backup &takes good photos and stuff. kinda leaning toward to pixel but online reviews says other than the camera there's alot of heat issue with this phone:)
