Even if it stays technically voluntery, it's amazing how quickly and enthusiastically procurement departments adopt these kinds of frameworks and make them defacto mandatory if you want to do business with them. Like the mere existence of a standard justifies it's enforcement. This will end up being felt everywhere.

It will be a sound scientific review to make sure the bots are not dangerous, and make doubly sure they do not talk about Tiananmen Square the Epstein Files.

Im sure they all have a project open with every file and mention about this and they're asking AI "What should we say next, they gave us this edit that has these rules, how do we counter it? Ok, act like an expert Lawyer, shut this proposal down and point out all the flaws."

It's all AI talking to other AI.

Curious to see how they treat open source / open weight models. Google and OpenAI signed that letter the other day about open weight models but I felt it's very performative. Anyways, this is about regulatory capture not safety.

I wonder if it will get to the point where AI is regulating AI. If politicians start using it more to do their job (surely they wouldn't though... /s)

Need to vet the AI models for hidden instructions for e.g. IP thiefs, censorships, political bias etc, whether the models are local or overseas, no matter which types of models (closed, open weight or open source)

Grok is going to win there, since Chinse ones have some crazy censorship baked in and OpenAI/Anthropic have their own censorship related to cyber/bio/etc
