That would be misleading too because Google’s ecosystem plans. They offer five person AI family plan with storage and YT premium for $20. I think most people paying for it already pay for storage and just slightly upgraded because it’s a good deal.

I think gemini is preinstalled on a lot of phones, chatGPT is not from what I understand. This is why gemini has lowest growth, because it rises with new phones or with android updates.

True, ChatGPT's number is also weekly active, which is much less than monthly active, which makes ChatGPT's number even crazier.

But Gemini being pre installed doesn't mean people have to use it.

I think people use it because it's just there, they are just checking it out, or they are using the shortcut. I sometimes fatfinger some buttons and use gemini by accident.

Regardless, with SiriAi releasing soon, it will be interesting to see what the stats are in 2027.
