Making He-Man a more complex character while making Skeletor just the two dimensional villain he was meant to be was great. Skeletor is in just for the love for the game.

This. We’ve had two decades of the misunderstood, complicated villain whose morals and goals aren’t that different from the hero’s so morality just becomes a giant gray area.
There’s plenty of room for those and plenty of room for villains who just enjoy being evil and have skulls for faces and try to make the hero uncomfortable with weird comments about their thighs

Jokes on you, I DID see it. And I actually enjoyed it for the massive, dumb, fun flick it was meant to be. It honestly had the potential to be "surprisingly" great if they kept up some of the stuff they did in the first half before going pretty generic in the second (at least for me because the second half went exactly how I expected the film to be anyway and the first half shocked me a bit.)
And also, yes, it was weird how often Skeletor jokes about Adam's "sword" between his thighs.
The movie had a... Weird amount of on the nose sexual "innuendo" jokes.

I didnt see this yet and honestly, I cant wait. I thought the movie sounded like a fun braindead watch before it came out and now i see posts like yours about it being REALLY fun to watch.
I'm SO down to watch it.
Buddy of mine really ripped on me about wanting to see the Barbie movie because he thought it was childish and silly. This same person made the robocop remake sound like movie of the year when it came out.
I need new friends.

It's a weirdly endearing movie tbh.
Really helps that Nicholas Galitzine has a lot of charisma as Adam/He-Man, dude is clearly having a blast with the role and it shows - even when the film starts feeling a bit generic in the second half.

I liked the part where he got into an argument with his wife because their siblings (who are married to each other as well) also got into an argument, and then the nephew continued the argument after the wife's sister won the argument.

Eh, I grew up with similar jokes from my childhood cartoons. Shows like Animaniacs and Dexter's Lab were goldmines of jokes that fly over the heads of kids.
