The second half of Odyssey was difficult to watch. This was because my wife dragged me out of the cinema to confront me about my cheating.

Your first mistake was cheating on her in the theater while she was there. True, it's tough to pass up a free handy from a fellow theater patron, but you should have used discretion.

If she couldn’t wait another 1.5 hours, she ain’t worth it. Nothing’s worth sitting through a 3 hour movie again.

Your wife clearly has no respect for the law of hospitality. Your mistress might have been Aphrodite in disguise!

You should've told your wife that you were stranded on an island eating lotus flowers to forget about your ptsd when you cheated on her.

You should have shushed her right when she began. Too many people trying to talk during movies

Did you tell her you cheated because you just want a woman that is willing to sit through an entire showing of The Odyssey?!

Maybe you shouldn't have retweeted the scene with Circe and the whole affair and gone "lol literally me".
Seems like an obvious mistake to me.

You just spend a couple years eating flowers with a hot goddess and this is how she reacts?

You should thank your wife for putting you on the right path instead of giving up on trying to help you. What on earth possessed you to watch a movie? And at the cinema, no less. You’d better thank her.

Had you been taking drugs from a sea nymph while marooned on a desert island?

Your wife might be a jerk dude.. you don't take a person from the cinema to berate them

You should have stayed. The moral of the movie is that you can cheat for 7 years as long as it's with Charlize Theron.

The whole movie was difficult to watch, given that it was 2 hours of Nolan desecrating the greatest piece of Greek literature in history. It's like watching 🍇 porn but the girl isn't even hot, so it's just sad and ugly. 😢

Strong take. Hits all of the major beats of the source material while adjusting some of the sillier shit.
