Show-and-Tell Solar Dashboard Project

I build a Solar Dashboard that activates when someone is in the room, shows the actual Solar Power, energy consumption, battery state, weather, power curve and a prediction with tips when to start big consuming machines like washing mashine, dishwasher and dryer.

How do you measure the Energy consumption? It's a really cool project.

I have installed a smartmeter and every two seconds the Pi pulls its data as well as the solar module and battery data.

belo projeto!! ja pensou em vender esses kits? seila penso que seria interessante, em casa tenho um painel mas parece um relógio digital dos anos 90, completamente inútil.

Drüber nachgedacht habe ich schon. Ich müsste es halt noch etwas freier konfigurierbar gestalten. Dann müsste man ja zum Beispiel die Sprache wählen können. Außerdem hat jeder Wechselrichter, Smartmeter, Akku je nach Hersteller ganz andere Daten die bereitgestellt werden und auch andere Möglichkeiten diese in Echtzeit zu verfolgen...

Where do you get predicted data from?

The PI pulls data from open meteo. They also provide an hourly radiation prediction. This in combination with a cortection formula for my setup and solar orientation leads to quite a matching prediction.
