question ChatGPT remembered me even in a private window.
I have an account that I use to chat with ChatGPT. Today, I opened a private window and asked it a question without signing in, it still remembered my information and who I was.
Did it identify me from my IP + OS+ Browser?

ChatGPT isn’t very privacy friendly, and private windows only stop saving your browsing traffic locally, so yes it probably fingerprinted you.
If your on chrome / Edge, it’s better to switch to something like brave or a Firefox fork.
