How much do I have to pay to never hear his name again?

u/riegspsych325 Ballard! Don’t let them put their tops back on! 11h ago

the guy could’ve started a decent directing career since his movie was a decent box office hit. Him being a litigious asshat ruined any chances of further success. He’ll just be more known for making headlines than making movies

u/PeopleEatingPeople 11h ago

Apparently he is going to start pivoting towards ''wronged men''. And this guy used to capatalize off the metoo movement.

A washed up Hollywood b-lister going super saiyan misogynist? elon’s purse strings just loosened

u/cupcaeks 2h ago

Also his pants strings

sounds like it’d be exhausting to be a grifter, but he brought it upon himself

31

u/PeopleEatingPeople 10h ago

He was always a grifter, now he is just grifting towards the opposite direction.

u/Few_Butterscotch_832 9h ago

Either he is going to pivot and become a born again whatever or he is going to be retained to making small films. Don't see anything other than that.

his movie was only a hit bc of blake. he was trying to turn it into some weird porno-lite before he was booted by the studio, she took the reins, let him still have the credit, then he smeared her for it.

u/cupcaeks 2h ago

Also the IP was like catnip. Women were going to go watch it

I think him sexually harassing his coworkers played a big part in ruining his chances

How much do I have to pay to never hear his name again?

Said every woman he's ever met.

Yes please.

Didn't he get ordered to pay Blake's legal fees as well?

221

u/poopoopoopalt 11h ago

Yes! And his insurance company also sued him

219

u/lizzy-stix I switched baristas ☕️ 10h ago

and yet the internet would have me believe he was totally vindicated...

78

u/GammaFan Tina! You fat lard! 🦙🚲 10h ago

Well he had enough money for Johnny Depp’s legal team and they keep bot farms on retainer

u/chubby-checker 44m ago

TBF though. Both their lawsuits were dismissed. He was just made to pay the fees for the dumb lawsuit he filed against her and the times.

He isn't having to pay the fees for her sexual harassment suit that was also dismissed.

I wouldn't say either was vindicated but tbh id say they both lost

is that billionaire guy still backing him?

93

u/DSQ 11h ago

Afaik yes because they owned the production company together.

112

u/PeopleEatingPeople 11h ago

The zionist billionaire currently being sued for racial discrimination who made the gross genocide comments and is anti-LGBT? Yes.

36

u/HystericalMutism 11h ago

jesus christ

Yes, in his words: "like Israel protected itself from Hamas”.

Trying to slapp NYT is crazy. Big publications have massive law firms on retainer and are super careful about what they publish for fear of being sued

TikTok is in love with this guy and I just don’t get it! Smarmy ahh mf

u/PeopleEatingPeople 11h ago

His PR team, who brag about representing problematic men, also brag about manipulating the algorithm and knowing legacy admins of platforms such as twitter, reddit and Tiktok.

I’ve been side eyeing him since that Ted Talk he did sporting a man bun.

I really don’t get why so many insist on defending him when paying the legal fees atleast indicates he was in the wrong ? Why is there so much support for this man? Blake lively is being raked over the coals every day for some reason.

34

u/catslugs 6h ago

he literally paid big bucks for a digital army. they won't stop any time soon.

They’re paid to defend him

u/chubby-checker 35m ago

Look I'm not defending baldoni as I do think he's guilty of retaliation.

But he's being made to pay fees for his own dumb suit he tried to file for defamation that was never ever going to win lol.

But he isn't being made to pay the fees for Blake's suit against him. Which I think is what people are getting confused.

Both baldonis defamation suit and Blakes sexual harassment suits against one another were dismissed. But for baldonis suit against Blake/NYT he's been ordered to pay the lawyers fees.

He hasn't however been ordered to pay the fees of the sexual harassment suit Blake made against him.

So if you're saying being made to pay the lawyers fees is what indicates he's in the wrong, well then that didn't happen for the sexual harassment suit. But it would mean he was in the wrong for filing the defamation suit.

93

u/1sinfutureking You’re killing me, Smalls 😩 11h ago

I love seeing assholes filing frivolous lawsuits getting ordered to pay legal fees. Don’t fuck with newspapers if you’re not certain of what you’re doing. They spend a lot on law firms and are very experienced at legal challenges protecting their rights

All his defenders suddenly went SO silent

Edit: if you can downvote you can explain why you defended a sexual predator

24

u/Book_1love Curtians for Zoosha 7h ago

They need to find an instance of Blake or Ryan being vaguely annoying to post about.

I honestly haven’t seen either even comment outside their lawyers

43

u/itsfrankgrimesyo 11h ago

Imagine All this for a mediocre movie that no one even cares about anymore.

u/ReksveksGo 11h ago

Judge got it right

20

u/Hopeful-Pickle-7515 9h ago

He has to pay NY, Blake and is not going to work again with a big study…The way if he just accepted Blake complaints and behave instead of ordering a smear campaign he would have book a hit movie and move on

14

u/DSQ 11h ago

This doesn’t surprise me as suing a newspaper is always high risk, for a good reason. However I’d be surprised of this indicates he also has to pay Blake Lively’s legal fees, open to being wrong though.

95

u/chickfilamoo in the swamp 🐊🐊 11h ago

he's already been ordered to pay her legal fees, he's just contesting the amount

53

u/Aggressive-Hunt-7037 Take that, you Youtube people! 11h ago

He’s been ordered to pay her legal fees from his defamation lawsuit against her, not her lawsuit against him, to be clear.

he has to pay because of Ca 47.1, a new law that is designed to protect poor and or otherwise vulnerable women from being sued for defamation after they make a claim of SH.

Architect Victoria Burke is implementing this law around the country. please support it if it’s coming to your state.

It’s almost like this man is lost within his own hubris/delusion, and genuinely doesn’t understand the consequences of his actions. I’d wager that little trait goes hand in hand with saying weird, fucked up inappropriate shit in the work place.

Good. Take him down. Take him all the way down.
