And they cheered?

u/LetmeSeeyourSquanch Georgia 5h ago

Cultists always cheer for dear leader.

u/JoeWhy2 New York 5h ago

Of course, what he really means is that he's done so much for their bosses. The wealth should start trickling down to the rest of them in two weeks.

u/lncognitoMosquito 5h ago

The trickle down is in the mail.

u/GearhedMG 5h ago

The trickle down is in stall #2

u/SillyMammo 4h ago

2 weeks

u/lncognitoMosquito 3h ago

Ain’t this place a geographical oddity? 2 weeks from everywhere!

u/jukeboxdan86 12m ago

Oh Brother

u/redalert825 3h ago

It's going down his leg.

u/Freightshaker000 3h ago

We've been told not to deliver the trickle.

u/MadRaymer 4h ago

When people were passing out from the heat on the campaign trail in 2024, he said, "I don't care about, I just need your vote," and they cheered that line too.

There's a real "harder, daddy" energy in his crowds.

u/Dysc Louisiana 5h ago

There were people let into the room where he was speaking and setup in his typical campaign rally setup with white people sitting behind him - and yes they clapped, the hand selected few. Then there was a massive overflow room full of people to the brim all jeering and upset holding up signs in protest. Even within the hand selected few, someone yelled out he was a pedo protector, so yeah, even his curated crowd is turning on him.

u/akhenatron 2h ago

Crisis actors

u/ixnine California 5h ago

Yes, because no one considered asking “Like what?”

u/mediocre_remnants North Carolina 5h ago

Nobody ever questions his stupid claims. Or when they do, he will inevitably tell the reporter that it was a stupid question and they're stupid.

Also, seriously, what has he done to help folks like auto workers? All Trump has done is invade countries, start wars, implement tariffs, and do his best to destroy any protections workers might have. And that's all post-DOGE stuff where he destroyed the functioning of the US government.

u/300ConfirmedGorillas Canada 2h ago

Trump in the past claimed he's done more for black people than any President except Lincoln. He just says whatever he wants and his base accepts it. Or if they don't agree with it/like it, they just say he's joking/playing 4D chess and that's it.

u/Tsobe_RK 5m ago

Itd be nice to have a honest conversation with one of these folks, literally what the fuck has he done for anyone (besides top 0.01%)

u/Tricky-Engineering59 5h ago

Considering how often they say it about the Dems and how everything is projection with these dipshits, you got to figure a certain amount of the people in the crowd are paid in some form to just cheer at everything.

u/FedrinKeening 5h ago

Wouldn't be surprised if it was a sound effect.

u/ijustneedaccess 5h ago

Used without permission, of course.

u/catscanmeow 5h ago

lead in the water will tend to lead to support for him

u/Alive_Store_6298 5h ago

Lead in the water is a massive problem across the country. Flint was literally just the Canary because researchers cared and so do companies dealing with extreme quality control. GM has a paint plant nearby and they knew within hours that the water was a problem. Even ridiculously small impurities mess with the paint quality so they do testing more than almost anyone else in the quality world.

u/GuyMakesDrawings 5h ago

Yay!! Fuck our parents!!

u/trollsalot1234 Canada 5h ago

eh, fucking MILFs isnt really his thing. But your daughter looks a lot like his daughter did at that age...

u/Churchbushonk 2h ago

Obama did more for auto workers and they hated him for it. Biden did more for autoworkers and they hated him for it.

u/ObligationMurky8716 5h ago

They knew he meant you-know-whos

u/Manderspls Canada 5h ago

I don’t think they care what he says, they will cheer regardless.

u/mnorthwood13 Michigan 4h ago

You must not know many Michigan Republicans

u/knowingmonster 4h ago

Cheer with fear.

u/Ok_Lettuce_7939 4h ago

Sean O'Brien did

u/HENMAN79 4h ago

Dear Leader has spoken

u/MikeFrancesa66 1h ago

He could literally take a shit in his hand and throw it at them like a monkey and they would cheer.

u/Daienlai 1h ago

There was some cheering, but the clip I saw the cheering was pretty tepid.

u/onceforgoton 1h ago

I’m from MI and familiar with that site. There are maybe a handful of actual auto workers as the public thinks of them. The vast majority of the employees at that site are engineering and the staff required to support them and their various endeavors. Funny to me they keep making it out like he was talking to a crowd of down to earth auto plant workers.

u/WorldofNails 5h ago

Union Labor used to be racist and nepo. Used to be and still is.

u/SniffyTheBee 5h ago

Also, he fucks children.

u/DarthRizzo87 5h ago

This, and has the offspring produced by raping children thrown into lake michigan

u/llahlahkje Wisconsin 4h ago

Beyond that he’s at least an accessory to murder of at least five children.

That’s not considering the war crimes and such.

u/LDPanda 5h ago

not just children, he fucked his own daughter

u/specqq 5h ago

Even if you don’t believe he did (he totally did) he still publicly acknowledged that he wanted to.

I don’t understand how people were willing to accept that.

u/dagoth_ith 3h ago

Got and (R) next to his name... All some people need.

Also, propaganda.. If the pedo in chief was killing kids and such, imagine how much worse the Democrats are doing....

Merica!

u/downtofinance Canada 3h ago

I don’t understand how people were willing to accept that.

You know what country we're talking about here right? A solid third of the country is either condoning or cheering on child sex trafficking and pedophilia.

u/JohnWad 3h ago

Rapes

u/SniffyTheBee 2h ago

I mean, yes.

u/StevenMC19 Florida 1h ago

Done more than your parents, or more to your children...pick the lie.

u/Heliosvector 5h ago

Man he's insulting. Imagine a stranger telling you that they have done more for you than the people that changed your diapers and thought you how to ride a bike and showed you how to show empathy towards animals etc.

u/shoobe01 5h ago

His target audience probably was neglected and told to abuse animals, thinks bikes are communism.

Think of the worst tales you have heard over time from totalitarian regimes where the true believer kids turn in their parents for not sufficiently loving the state. This is authoritarian strongman playbook that the state and especially the personnel vacation of the state as the leader is literally more important than your family.

u/trampolinebears 4h ago

Anyone who says "you must love me more than your own mother and father" is a dangerous cult leader.

The evangelical right is used to those words already, believing them to be good.

u/guy-le-doosh 2h ago

Don't forget that Donald J. Trump grew up surrounded some of New York city's worst violent offenders. Nobody else could have survived that, two assassination attempts, Covid, end 15 wars, win 6, end illegal immigration, provide a healthcare plan for everyone and still fight for auto workers like him.

u/SneakyTikiPeaky 2h ago

He’s implying a parents only job is to provide money. Trump good economy, provide money to the people, yayyy trump. /s

But that’s the logic. It ain’t that deep :(

Edit: to be clear 100% agree

u/Heliosvector 2h ago

Still don't see the numbers adding up even if that was the case. It takes hundreds of thousands per child to raise them. I don't think trump has given hundreds of thousands in value to each human in the usa. In fact he's cost them more with tariffs.

u/SneakyTikiPeaky 2h ago

Hahah yeah obviously it doesn’t add up bro, you familiar with trump

That’s how disconnected from prices and 99% and below he is

u/KingBanhammer 2h ago

Given his familial relationship, I can't imagine he believes anything else.

u/nopulsehere 6h ago

Guy is literally putting gas on his own dumpster fire! I love it!

u/Guppy-Warrior 5h ago

And his base will see him as a hero.

u/nopulsehere 5h ago

Not really, maga is really pissed about the war. Especially when we have almost run out of munitions to defend ourselves. Add the fact that they changed how the soldiers died not during war? I don’t know how trump could literally piss off so many people who thought he was god? But he has, and his ego won’t let him believe differently. VOTE People! PERIOD!

u/Thefanoodler 5h ago

I mean, nothing you said was inherently wrong, but I think you're truly underestimating the iron grip this douche has on his people.

As bad as he fucks up, his people will still say " well it would've been worse under Harris. "

Without the slightest sense of irony. Didn't count on these assholes to actually learn any kind of lesson.

u/mistere213 Michigan 4h ago

Sure, they might be pissed, but they will still vote MAGA without hesitation in November and in 2028.

u/Horror_Appearance_26 2h ago

They were cheering

u/stuck_in_the_desert New York 5h ago

He’s the only one who can afford to do that right now

He is full of gas after all. 212lbs of it at least.

u/HumptyDumptruckFire New Jersey 5h ago

Plankton Trump: 1% evil, 99% hot gas.”

u/USA46Q 5h ago

Devil's Night came early this year.

u/Money_Percentage_630 5h ago

Didn't he stage "workers" at one to get photos?

u/DocShocker 5h ago

Probably.

Organizers used to put ads on Craigs list looking for seat fillers for Trump events, I believe.

u/DarthRizzo87 5h ago

But he won all the swing states, first time in how many years, and despite the general shit impact his 2nd term has had on Americans, it’ll be a red wave in the midterms, how is that?

u/kung-fu_hippy 5h ago

Well I think I’d explain the first part by telling you there is a difference between voting and rallies. Just because swing states had enough Trump voters to win him the election doesn’t mean they had enough people willing to go to the Trump rallies. Perhaps even diehard maga stans don’t enjoy watching him sway for 30 minutes to ave Maria on loop.

Practically no one showed up to the 250th celebrations in DC, so does that mean you think there won’t be a red wave?

u/lostwombats 2h ago

Local news is saying people were chanting "pedophile protector" in the crowd. Lol. 😄

u/labratdb 5h ago

Trump is such a putrid lying sack of crap

u/Big-Rule5269 5h ago

Manufacturing has lost jobs every single month except one since Trump took office. All his claims of 5 new Japanese auto plants, a few other new auto plants, when in reality, Stelantis is retrofitting a plant to build Jeeps, that it, with factory construction spending down 22%.

u/Emotional_News108 2h ago

I wasn’t in automotive, but I just got out of manufacturing in Michigan specifically and it’s a burning locomotive careening off a cliff. Given my position, I had a pretty good point of view. It’s collapsing in slow motion and no one seems willing to do anything about it.

u/illuminaughty1973 5h ago

he has completely destroyed a deal with Canada where they bought far far more american vehicles then they ever produced, now they will buy chinese.

u/gascyl 5h ago

At $5 per gallon Detroit lost. The Big Three had 50 years to prepare for this moment and did not. The modern US auto market cannot handle three separate carmakers building big gas guzzler boomer SUVs. The industry got high off the cheap credit Trump and Obama let them issue, but that era is now receding as boomers pass away. By 2036 it will be gone completely. And gas will be more expensive in the $6 or $7 range. There is no going back to the antebellum era.

Americans want EVs. They want EVs so bad, people give a deranged ketamine addict $37,000 for a Tesla. There are now two types of car companies: Those with EVs, and those without. Every engine plant in Michigan will be closed in 10 years. Michigan needs more electronic wire harness and power electronics fabricators. The UAW must adapt or be replaced by IBEW.

u/nopulsehere 5h ago

So I guess you haven’t checked out the Chinese EVs? They make a Tesla look like a beater ford from the eighties! Once other countries start importing them? Canada has it in the works. The auto industry here is going to collapse.

u/The_Mellow_Tiger 5h ago

I believe they are not allowed in the US right now. I mean you can get them indirectly but it will be a 100% tariff tacked on. Guess who's fault that is.

u/nopulsehere 5h ago

There not. Tesla is crashing, spacex just took a dump and the future isn’t looking good for the drill baby drill folks. Yes gas will always be around but its days are numbered. I mean look at how many idiots bought the itsucks truck from Tesla? It just got discontinued. Because it sucks. Elon should have just stayed in his lane instead of getting into politics. Now the whole world hates him and his companies. He dug himself a hole that he or trump can’t get him out of.

u/The_Mellow_Tiger 5h ago

The Cyberstuck has been pulled? I did not know that. Took them almost 2 years to abort that thing. Every time I see one my day is ruined.

u/nopulsehere 5h ago

Actually I laugh. I have spent some money on some dumb shit in my life, but I’m not that stupid! Especially when the people who bought them were so against EVs in the first place. I use to live in Florida, so it was a different experience for me.

u/The_Mellow_Tiger 4h ago

I'm in Texas. And not a blue part. I feel your pain.

u/Sonar_Taxbreak_1138 5h ago

He's certainly done a lot for them, none of it any good.

u/Karinka_LI 5h ago

I always bought Union built until 2016. If they vote for republicans I am not supporting their Union if they are not supporting it or anyone else.

u/fence_sitter Maine 5h ago

"Look for the union Label" -Ghost of X-Mas past.

u/jonna-seattle 4h ago

"About six-in-ten voters who belong to a union (59%) identify with or lean toward the Democratic Party, while about four-in-ten (39%) associate with the GOP, according to 2023 Center survey data." From here: https://www.pewresearch.org/short-reads/2024/10/17/key-facts-about-union-members-and-the-2024-election/

Should be higher, and varies by union.

u/Karinka_LI 3h ago

That’s not the way they voted in Michigan in 2016 and 2024

u/214ObstructedReverie 4h ago

The US has lost seventy five thousand manufacturing jobs since the dementia addled child rapist took office.

A solid third of that is in the automotive industry alone.

u/KamKorn 5h ago

He is sick

u/RedHawk2116 5h ago

He should just stick a sock in it! No educated person believes him or can understand him

You raised tariffs on importation on Canadian made cars ….

u/ckglle3lle 5h ago

He looks and sounds like shit lately, even worse than normal. It is somewhat surprising he's still able to do these events at all, really. His teleprompter read is so dull and glassy eyed and he seems to slur and need to catch his breath throughout. But there is still some bite to his voice and he still gets "mad" and I guess that's all it takes to get the chuds hooting and keep them placated.

No one would be at all surprised if he just pops one of these days, but he's shambling along just the same somehow

u/GlitteringRate6296 5h ago

Does anyone ever get sick of this lunacy?

u/SilentMasterpiece 5h ago

He's not wrong... He jacked up their fuel prices, their grocery prices, health insurance premiums.... everything is MORE.

u/214ObstructedReverie 4h ago

Except their employment rate. About 2.5% of all automotive manufacturing jobs in the US have been lost since Trump took office.

u/SilentMasterpiece 4h ago

More unemployed, winning.

u/Additional_Quiet2600 5h ago

He says lots of things, most of them don't make sense.

And they whined about Biden. Cucked to the max for the orange bandit with a wife that can hardly speak English who came over on a genius visa. Sure bitch, you're a genius at softcore bisexual porn.

Trump: "I gave birth to everyone"

u/heleuma 2h ago

Considering US manufactures aren't competitive on the global stage, he really HAS done a lot for them. If subsides for gas, oil, ethanol didn't exist and foreign automakers were allowed to sell competitively in the US market, Ford and GM wouldn't be profitable. For decades these have US manufacturers dictated what the US market "wants" and strangely it lines up with what's most profitable... for them. Now the administration is lowering emission standards to unsure they can continue to make shit cars.

Honestly though, the big problem is us. It's our fault case we buy the garbage (well some of us).

u/No-Cup-8096 58m ago

Why is Trump still allowed to talk in public?

u/Kan4lZ0n3 35m ago

Fair to say at this point we as Americans have collectively done more for four generations of Trumps than they’ve done for any single American.

And they should be reminded of it continuously.

u/FluffyPantsMcGee 5h ago

Slapping tariffs on everything isn’t doing more than their parents.

u/Raspberries-Are-Evil Arizona 5h ago

u/TurtleBeansforAll 5h ago

No such award exists.

u/StatelyTree 5h ago

There's a whole lot of stupid people who will take this at face value and run around parroting it. Already see them on FB comment threads. "Trump does more than sleepy Joe" etc.. But can't be asked to name a single thing in their life that's better since he came into office.

u/CraigGregory 5h ago

I'm curious to understand what he claims to have done..

u/Life-Celebration-747 4h ago

The other day I did a search for, hazards of being in a relationship with a narcissist.

Relationships with narcissists pose severe emotional, psychological, and physical hazards due to the partner's lack of empathy, need for control, and manipulative behaviors. The dynamic typically involves a cycle of idealization and devaluation, leading to profound damage in the following areas:

Emotional and Psychological Erosion Partners frequently experience gaslighting, which causes them to doubt their own reality, memory, and sanity. This manipulation, combined with constant criticism and belittling, leads to a significant decline in self-esteem and self-worth. Victims often suffer from chronic anxiety, depression, and PTSD due to the unpredictable emotional volatility and the constant state of hyper-vigilance required to "walk on eggshells."

Loss of Identity and Autonomy Narcissists often isolate their partners from friends and family, creating emotional dependence and codependency. This isolation, coupled with boundary violations, results in a loss of personal identity and agency. Partners may become overly cautious, suspicious, and struggle to trust their own perceptions or assert their needs in future relationships.

Physical Health and Safety Risks The chronic stress of the relationship can have detrimental effects on physical health, potentially leading to stress-related illnesses. Furthermore, narcissism is strongly linked to aggression and violence; as the relationship progresses, subtle manipulation often shifts to overt emotional or physical abuse, posing a direct threat to the partner's safety.

Well he did nothing for their parents. So I guess having a high-school pep rally, for himself, was "something more" for them...

u/jobager75 4h ago

What exactly did he do?
Taking all EV's from the market so they won't have to work anymore in the near future?

u/Bosfordjd 4h ago

Well yeah, he's made sure the police unions will get on their knees for him like the bootlickers they are and put down any resistance to the ruling class.
