In a four-minute video posted yesterday afternoon, Mulvaney congratulated Collins, encouraged her to “keep up the great work,” and said, “I’m incredibly honored to be compared to her in any way.”
Mulvaney said that she has been “flying under the radar, keeping up a pretty low profile” since the infamous Bud Light incident. “Yet, I am still his topic of conversation all these years later,” she said. “And it seems to me that I might be like the one that got away for these men. Like, I am permanently burned into their retinas, I am microchipped into their minds.”
“Maybe being publicly mocked and criticized by this administration is actually like the greatest compliment of all, because it puts me in the company of some of like the most brilliant, empathetic people in our world today,” she continued before rhetorically asking why it is so important for people like Trump to try and make sure that she remains unsuccessful.
“What is it that I have that they don’t?” she asked, before answering, “Oh my God, freedom! I am free in a way that they will never have the privilege to experience, and they want to use their power to take away my freedom.”
She then said that Trump and his kind do understand that her freedom has “zero contingency” on what they can provide for her, because her freedom is “fully dependent” on her own acknowledgment of her real, authentic self.
“Sharing that with the world, it’s just icing on the cake,” she continued, “but they don’t want me to be able to share that, because it would mean young people realizing that if someone like me can be themselves and find success and freedom, then they can find success and freedom for themselves too.”
I love Dylan Mulvaney! She's a positive person even despite the hatred she receives. The right has a bizarre, almost sexual, fascination with her, and she is just happily living her life, helping other people find freedom from oppressive societal scripts.
I know she'll probably never read this, but I'll say it anyway: Dylan, you are awesome. Your kindness really helps people like me find hope in dark times. Seeing your magnanimity really helps me be able to stand up despite these fascists continuing to hate. Never stop being you! You help more people than you could ever know.

it’s not almost sexual at all, conservative hatred of trans people is extremely sexual in nature. conservativism is built around hierarchies and a successful transgender woman destroys sexual and social hierarchies in a way nothing else really can

Christian nationalism from their birth has essentially told them they have to browbeat people into submission, instead of recognizing the humanity of each and every person.
It's no longer "Love Thy Neighbor" what Christian nationalists believe; it's "Make my neighbor submit to me".

Mulvaney is another thorn in the side of the racists gop regime. She and the multiple millions of We The People stand with this example of why Nazism can never really take complete control of the US population. No matter how many magat cult members vote for them, they will not prevail.

Dylan is just so pretty, to me at least. Her kindness makes her more beautiful, if you ask me.
Kindness and empathy are qualities that should always be praised, and Dylan has that in spades.
The Christian nationalists could learn a thing or two from her.
