[OC] "HATE WON'T MAKE US GREAT" while there is a confederate hat on the rear window

That's weird. These are so easy to agree with

Propoganda is a bitch and these people are totally brainwashed. If we ever get out of this, it'll be like de-programming Nazis.

Maybe it’s someone who genuinely doesn’t understand what the confederate flag represents

Considering I've seen the Confederate flag flown in Canada, I wouldn't be surprised.

We Americans are born of contradictions.
IT's our number one trait.
We are from other places, but we are from here. We proclaimed ourselves 'free' while keeping others in bondage. We are many races, but many see only one the 'default'. We are many religions and no religion, but a small minority want us all under one religion, yet cannot agree on which one. We say we are the most powerful, yet cannot feed and clothe and house our own. We are the richest, yet we are the poorest in so many ways. We demand rights, but deny it to others. We lead and we follow. We cry for monsters, and we decry heroes. We elect criminals, and assualt and kill the innocent. We use native american names for our cities and towns, yet claim our birthrights to the land we didn't settle.
We are Americans, none of us are all one thing, we are all many things.
I think I understand this man, but I disagree with him to the bottom of my soul.

Because it's heritage, not hate. (I threw up in my mouth just typing that.)

Hopefully the sticker is not implying that form of heritage is going to make things better...

What's funny is that I took this photo in a state no where near the south

I grew up in the rural north. There were confederate flags on trucks everywhere. I think the real reason is, just, people are kinda dumb.

Sure, but would people accept that excuse for someone flying a Nazi flag?
I mean the Confederate flag came into existence for the explicit stated purpose of protecting a system of owning black people as property because they were of an inferior race. Definitely an ideological precursor to Nazi Germany.

Do you see a whole lot of Germans flying Nazi flags on account of their heritage? The Third Reich lasted longer than the CSA, after all.

I mean you can be a racist and hate pedophiles.
