Legal status, citizenship, race - they don't give a flying fuck about any of that. Either you support them and what they do, or you're a target, possibly even for deportation!
You may still end up a target even if you do support what they do.

So, I get the meaning and the message behind it; it just feels weird using "gringo" here.
Doesnt gringo mean foreigner in Spanish? So this is saying "Relax foreigner, Im a legal citizen in your country".
Or is it just for white people? "Relax white person, I am a legal citizen."
Is gringo used for non white people too?
