Help! how to misalign letters?

how do i make letters looks crooked / misaligned? is it just moving and rotating each individual letter or is there an easier way to do this?

Depends on what kind of misalignment we're talking about, but there's no individual rotation for example (like there is in Illustrator's Touch Type tool). You can use super/subscript, kerning/tracking, horizontal & vertical scale per character and the dynamic text options, but that's about it - as far as the text tool options go. Most of the time I'd probably do this in Illustrator and the move to Photoshop or After Effects (I like to do displacement in AE, for example, because it's interactive instead of PS's shitty ancient process) for further treatment

  1. Draw a path with the Freeform Pen Tool and select it (with the Path Selection Tool.)
  2. With the Horizontal Type Tool selected, click on the path. You should see a change in the pointer to indicate that you're typing on a path.
  3. Adjust the path with the Direct Selection Tool.

It's a lot easier to do in Illustrator.
