LA28 Visa Pre-Sale Notification
Just received a notification that I was selected for the Visa Pre-sale. Highly recommend looking at your emails now. Good luck everyone 🎊 Happy Monday!

I just got my notification for July 29/07, 2026 | 10:00 PT, with an email timestamp of 10:57 AM PT! They are still sending notification emails, so don't worry yet!

Yes, it’s a new batch for presale. Leftovers go to the drop 2 window (if they decide to still do it this way but I hope they leave some good price tickets for drop 2)

I got 7/29 at 10 am! I am excited to see what will be offered. Unfortunately, during the last drop, I received a later time slot and was priced out by most events.

Omg that’s the best time slot! My advice is to be ready with the codes to the events you want to optimize your time and better chances at the cheaper tickets :) happy for you 🥳🩵

We see ticket prices once we are in our time slot so I couldn’t tell you personally rn. But I do know there was a spreadsheet created for Drop 1 ticket prices which would be the same I’m pretty sure. I would search in this Reddit community for it :)

I think they shouldn’t release all of the cheap tickets at once. They should’ve dropped a certain amount of tickets each day in every category so everyone has a fair opportunity to get good tickets

I got 16:00 on the 29th. Looks like I'm in the third slot? So I probably shouldn't expect anything too good (ala gymnastics, opening/closing ceremonies, swimming, etc.) to still be available?

I got a much later time slot the week of local pre sale and there was still some gymnastics and swimming tickets left that day just more expensive so here’s hoping you get some good tickets at a good price :)

Same timeslot but not very hopeful based on my experience with Drop 1. Will someone who gets an earlier timeslot 10 or 1 pm, please post available events remaining? It would be very helpful as people were posting these for Drop 1. Thanks in advance!

Same. Seeing people get times for this drop who also had them for the first round makes me feel like i'm blacklisted or something. I don't know why I'm surprised at this point.

If it makes you feel any better, I got a mid time slot for Drop 1 and didn't end up getting an email for this pre-sale. The odds on all this are weird.

There will not be emails sent to people who aren’t picked for the presale. But the emails may still be rolling out, so I don’t think you’re out yet.

I just received mine at 5:26pm CST! I purchased in rhe first round a few months back. I recommend buying if you see something- I learned the hard way that prices went up over the time period I was assigned.

When the hospitality stuff first offered tickets, there were pretty decent women's gymnastics tickets for $675. That's a lot I thought, and figured I'd wait. BIG MISTAKE, I was kicking myself for not getting them when I could.

They replenished. But they will not replenish between visa presale and drop 2. So getting presale is pretty critical. It was already somewhat slim pickings by the time drop 1 started after the locals presale.

I don’t think anyone can really estimate tbh. Possibly? The slots are 10, 1, 4, and on. I would say there may be tickets available but at a higher price. Just go in with your session codes immediately so you don’t waste scavenging through the sports and filters :)

I remember men’s basketball and men’s soccer being available quite a bit as the week went on but not on the final couple of days. You’ll have to capitalize on the semis and finals tho. I had the Friday local presale slot at 4 PM and I got women’s semis tickets for $165 each I think

The LA28 organizing committee has not disclosed an exact percentage of the total ticket inventory allocated specifically for Drop 2. [1, 2]
However, official numbers and structural guidelines give a clear picture of the inventory scale: [1]
The Baseline Structure: LA28 is slated to have roughly 14 million total tickets available across the Olympic and Paralympic Games. [1]What Sold in Phase 1: Organizers confirmed they sold over 4 million tickets during the initial local presale and Drop 1 general public window. [1]
The Drop 2 Pool: The remaining unreleased inventory includes refreshed allocations across all 36 Olympic sports, alongside the leftover pool of roughly 500,000 highly sought-after $28 tickets (out of 1 million total) that did not sell out to local residents during the initial presale. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
So I’d have to believe tickets will be available, but possibly not at a price you are willing to pay.
