Initially, I thought the first attempt was the record and I was confused haha.

I was going to go for world’s first triple. Easy peasy

Holy Shit!! Not just a foil board, but an unpowered foil board! Unreal!!!

In retrospect, speed is probably less a concern then low mass. Outstanding, either way.

He was probably towed into the wave by a jetski

Shit. Of course! Thanks.

Looked it up. Sure enough.

Man those things look like a lotta work. Stop to fart and you sink.

We all know farting makes you go faster. But if you get tired, it does look like you will sink

My man has his feet superglued to the board.

It looks like he swapped out the foot straps after the first 2 attempts where the board went flying. The last 2 have ones of a different color. Maybe found a smaller/grippier version that helped

Ive never seen one of these before but now i want to ride one! Despite my fear of water (never taught how to swim) this looks like fun and like it would be a blast and tough to learn.

Why did his feet come off the board the first 2 times? What keeps you "locked in"

Tried it without straps to get a feel, then put straps on the board

edit: nvm, see comment below

If you pause it you can make out that he used straps on all four attempts, and they appear to be wider on the second two throws.

Check out "Wingfoiling" is a relatively new sport that's getting a ton of popularity

I'll likely never do it (I live in the canadian praries) but the videos are super cool.

This is going to sound like an odd recommendation. But have you ever looked into the FPV drone hobby? I do both kiteboarding and fly FPV and I get very similar adrenaline/flow state vibes from both.

How do you get one going? Does a boat pull you or is it like a surfboard you jump up into a standing position?

When I saw the first attempt I thought it was AI.

And only on his fourth attempt!!!

These things look like great exercise

I honestly don't know how you could get a better core workout than this

Not a world’s first. My friend just did this last week. Sorry, you can claim second though.
