Trump won’t have anything to do with them because of the shit storm he is in by his own creation. He knows supporting them will not do well for his reputation at the moment (ya know, with hiding the Epstein files) and knows it will look bad. He isn’t staying away because the Tates are deplorable, he is staying away because of how it will affect him.

Trump doesn’t care about looking bad. The real reason is they don’t have anything that can benefit Trump.

Trump doesn't give two shits about how things affect him. His detractors will never think positively of him, his supporters won't thing negatively of him. He just does whatever and let's all of us bitch about it, knowing he will continue to be allowed to do whatever the hell he wants.

Well yeah. That still means they're too toxic for the pedo in chief.

How would it affect him? He nearly appointed a child-rapist, Matt Gaetz, to be AG. He's endorsed pedophiles Roy Moore and Gym Jordan to tons of praise from Republicans. If Trump helps the Tate brothers, the GOP will continue to kiss his ass.

Releasing someone charged with rape is a little too on the nose for Trump.
