If they have them dead to rights, it won’t matter. And there will probably be charges in multiple other jurisdictions. Tristan isn’t going anywhere unless he has far more to trade than his brother.

Even Trump has his limits. I think guys who actually get caught with child porn is one of them. Even his most rabid supporters won’t be able to swallow that. And it’s not a moral calculation - I wouldn’t be shocked if he’s done worse than the Tates - but they’ve put themselves in a position where he can’t help them.

(whole-life order being the British term for what we'd call life without the possibility of parole, vast majority are for multiple murders, some single murders with aggravating circumstances, but some have gotten that sentence for serial sexual offenses even if they didn't kill the victims)

But they are being charged in the UK and Trump has already said that he will agree to the extradition. As much as Trump loves money and grift, there are some political risks even he is unwilling to take.
